We went there on a weekday for dinner, nice ambience with traditional feel. Food took some time too be served but it was good. Compared to other nyonya restaurants that closes quite early, this was the only place that closes a little later. Also, price was reasonable. Overall, it's a should try place✅ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 160–180 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The food is a disappointment. The sotong balachan was way overdone and was chewy. Mutton in rendang was too tough (underdone!), It should fall apart at first bite. Finally even chicken buah keluak was over tough ...impossible to eat. However sauce in all the dishes was good unfortunately let down by the protein/ meat. Manager gave dessert as compensation which partly compensate for the poor quality of dishes. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 80–100 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Nyonya restaurant off Jonker Walk. Food is acceptable and price is reasonable. Ordered chicken ponteh, belacan kangkung and fish maw soup. Nice restaurant decoration as well. Was looking for a peranakan restaurant in the Jonker Street area that was still open while we were out late and chanced upon this place! We ordered the chap chye and sambal prawns which were both so delicious. Very well seasoned (completely polished the sambal off haha!). The blue pea rice was also surprisingly flavourful, I really enjoyed it. Overall a great meal, no complaints! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Recommended dishes Blue Pea Rice

Superb in every aspect - decor, food, service and location. As very fussy Penangites, we wanted to try Malacca's take on Nyonya food. We were not disappointed. Dishes beautifully cooked and served with a smile. We had acar starter, mutton curry, omelette with cincaluk, potato leaf with belachan, duck soup with salted veg, sliced aubergine with belachan and blue pea flower coloured rice. Try the rose water with lime. Great thirst quencher. Bill came to RM220 and we also got complimentary sago gula melaka pudding. Bargain! We regretted not trying the fish or the prawns which were a little pricey. Maybe next time 😉. We came across Siew Tin’s Nyonya Kitchen by chance while walking around. The entrance opens to a small room consisting of just four tables, but there are more dining areas further inside and upstairs. We had the ayam buah keluak (black nut chicken), gula melaka chicken wings and the butterfly pea flower rice. The gula melaka chicken wings were very tasty. The ayam buah keluak was ok - the chicken was nicely cooked. The buah keluak flavour was not to my liking but husband thought it was delicious. The butterfly pea flower rice was nice. The complimentary sago gula melaka was fantastic and a perfect way to end the meal! No complaints overall. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
