One of the only true "poolhalls" left. The food is decent at best. But it has the pool hall atmosphere, no tvs(currently), losts of great players and people willing to teach.
When you think of a pool hall... this is what you think of. The bar is "dive-y". No overcharge for middle-manning your beer. Not fancy cocktails. Good-not-great tables... grab your own table, join a league... whatever. You do you. Membership us one time charge. Joined 4 months ago...
1000% with it.
Had such a amazing time. Our waitress was so helpful and nice even though she seemed to be serving the whole place. The food was so good. Can't wait to go back.
First off you have to be a member (or with a member) to go in. Place is big has a lot of pool tables and not to busy but the service was terrible. There was 6 other customers in besides us and the lady was having a hard time keeping up and said i dont know where the rush of people came from (theres 10 customers in the building). Took 20 mins to even pay for a membership and order drinks. Took another 45 mins to even get our single beer each and then we ordered a couple drinks at one time since it takes forever another 50mins goes by lady comes by tells us she's working on our order.... mind you we just ordered beer all you have to do is take it out of the fridge and hand it to us. So we decide to ask for the bill and of course another 45 mins roll by. But if you're there for pool only and not service you are good (tables always open).
Been going to shoot her since they started back in 1989 one of my favorite places to shoot pool meet friends make a new friends and the management and owners are absolutely wonderful people couldn't ask for a nicer place. Also they have incredible food and their menus are very detailed and many options for everyone in the family, from steaks to pizzas to chicken nuggets to wings you name it they probably have it. It's a place to put a smile on your face.
One of the biggest pool halls I've been too with a lot of space. While the theme is outdated it is still a great place for tournaments or just getting everyone together for some fun!
Pretty cool place to play pool still. Be aware it is now a private club, so you have to pay $10 to become a member.
Lost a star because the building is falling apart in a lot of spots, but they said they are working on it. So I hope they get it back in good shape.
Casey (spelling) did a great job covering such a large area and quite a few members at the se time.
I was there for a retirement party on a Saturday. Lots of tables. Most were empty. I was told the busy nights are thru the week with league play. It has a nice bar area. Drinks are cheap and the beer is cold. Somewhat dated. Players come in with the personal cue sticks to play and some bring thier families. Good parking and easy to get to. Picture an old pool hall...this is it.
