When we first got seated the table was still dirty. The table & both the chair was greasy. I asked to get it clean & the woman was very unprofessional, she was talking on her cellphone. They cleaned the table & chair. We placed our order, our cook was great!! They left a shrimp tail in my sushi roll. I tried to give them another chance after the viral bug in their to go box but after my experience, I will not be back. This place is dirty & unprofessional, it need to be shut down. We went to Shogun and really enjoyed the food. My husband ordered the combination Steak and Calamari and really enjoyed it. I had sushi. Every time I go I try something new. The best so far is the Creamy Monster, Louisiana and Spider. They make it fresh to order. I gave it a four star because when they are packed there is a delay in service but the wait staff is very nice and the food is great. Recent visit was great. New favorite sushi roll is the dragon fly roll. The spicy tuna is fresh. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I'm not sure how you ruin Miso soup, but, they served soup we couldn't eat. The sushi was very fishy, and overall poor quality. We used to get good food here a few years ago, but, this was not only so bad that we left half of our sushi rolls uneaten.... and it was very expensive for lunch. So im gonna rate this a 2 instead of a 1 cause the food was good. We went on with 8 people had an hour wait to sit which is not bad on a Saturday. Well they sit us they have 3 chefs working. 2 of the 3 go back and start cleaning the kitchen and won't come cook for us. How do we know this, cause the waitress told us what going on. We sat over an hour before they started cooking. Complained to manager and her response was that they have no control over the chefs and they do what they want. 300 dollar bill and this is the service you get from them. The waitress was great. Ordered from grubhub so take this with a grain of salt. What happened to the sushi??? Over half the rolls were missing from the grubhub menu so I went with an old favorite I haven’t had in a while, the louisianna roll, and it tasted like a sponge??? The texture was awful. It was super dry, and had no flavor. I also ordered the creamy monster and they were still good, but way smaller than how they used to be. I used to LOVE this restaurant, I even worked there for a little while a few years back. Whatever management change is going on, y’all’s food is definitely taking a hit. Kinda disappointed. I have been to this place on several occasions. Tonight we had six for the hibachi. 25 minute wait, so not too bad. Went out to car and waited for a text. While we were waiting, son had to use restroom. Restrooms were in use so he went next door to Home Depot. Got the text. Four of us walked in ready to be seated and waiting for the other two at the restroom next door. Since they did not get back from restroom within 8 minutes, they cancelled our table and said we would have to wait for the next opening in 45 minutes to an hour. Your policy sucks! Four of six there waiting and ready to be seated. I understand if less than half the group is there, but that was ridiculous! Won't be back. I vote with my wallet, as well. Service: 1

The food was on point, although Chef Luis was not the father of the bar, he made sure to raise it, the staff were kind and gracious, the restaurant was clean. 5 stars. I have gotten to go from Shogun for years now, and I love their fried rice. Tonight I ordered it to go double fried rice However, this time their portions have significantly gone down from the past.
