When the food is good it’s goood. This is one of the few places I’ve been willing to go back for their berkat. In the beginning it was my go to place, after a while not so much and now it seems to be good again. Could’ve swear when it just opened we got bbq chicken in our berkat. The only thing I didn’t like was the peyeh in the berkat because of its thickness, but I was just a small thing in a berkat. The berkat was also well filled which can be easily shared by 3 people, 2 if you’re eating with me. As a local I like to take short road trips to Commewijne and most of the time I always end up here. Their bbq chicken sate is also very good, even when you eat them plain. I’m picky with sauces so I ate mine plain. They also have airconditioning room now for which is very welcome in the dry season of Suriname. I heard they charge extra for eating in the cooled room but can’t confirm because I always choose takeout. We called and placed our order and it was done by time we got there. You can also swipe which is a plus because a lot of warung’s or Indonesian/Javanese restaurants don’t have that. Friendly service, and the prices are fair. this restaurant is over rate, the first time I eat there the saoto soup was tasteless. Then yesterday I said "let me give them one more chance", and I asked for a nasie rice, was the worst rice I had ever ate. They used the more cheaper rice to cook and the prices for what they sell it, it is the most expensive in all the zone. Stop fooling people Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
