Fresh and tasty sushi for a quick stop at Matamata! The person serving us the sushi was very patient considering we had a group of 6 and had to pay individually or in small groups. Not bad for a small sushi shop. Excellent wide range of selection. The chicken and prawn taste like KFC but crispier. The chicken Katsu has the best crunch shortly followed after a classic prawn. I recommend the sweet chilli or mayo chicken to pick from the store if you’re not into the crispy flavour but more of a tang taste. Personally I lived in Matamata, they always have been proactive and ready to serve your food on the counter with a caring attitude. I understand about the bad comments of the Ramyun dish and the rice being slightly dry. I apologise, but don’t the one bad experience determine a restaurant’s performance. Because I know expectations are high for them but looking at the majority of comments most them had great comments. So if you do have bad experience at Sen sushi, give them a second shot because they are worth it. The best sushi I have found in New Zealand. The customer service is kind and friendly. Always a lovely experience and I often will go 40min out of my way for their delicious tasting sushi! The sweet chilli chicken, vege triangles and teriyaki pumpkin are my favorites!! Service Take out

I travel all over the place and if there's a sushi shop I'm stopping there. This one I have never been to before but I can tell you I'm stopping there every time from now. Great service and fantastic sushi. Especially the sweet Chile chicken on rice. Perfect.

The price of sushi is a bit expensive, but the taste is OK! We ordered a 10 yuan ramen for children, but it turned out to be instant noodles, spicy. The store did not specify when buying, this is what makes us most angry.

Been craving sushi especially sashimi for weeks but all the sushi shops in my hometown are closed. Sen Sushi was about to close for the day but they didn’t have any sashimi at the front. But I asked if they have any and they made some for me. Thank you for the wonderful service. The sushi was great and my cravings were satisfied!
