Japanese cuisine under the direction of the talented chef is gorgeous at this place. Many guests come to taste perfectly cooked california rolls, prawns and sushi. If you like beer, order it at this bar, it's good here. Based on the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve great lemonade. You can enjoy live music in the evening. The staff is hospitable that's what makes Sea40 so nice. Cool service is something visitors like here. Clients of this place state that they found prices attractive. Had reservations on a busy Friday night for hibachi with 9 people. We were celebrating my daughter and neices birthday. We were told they were short staffed, and you never would of known!!! Our food was delicious. Every staff member was friendly And once they found out about the girls' birthday they brought out desert and made such a big deal!! We can't wait to go back!! I went there to celebrate my birthday and we all had a blast. The service was wonderful and cheerful, the manager sang happy birthday to me and gave us all free fried ice cream and sake shots. Amazing and fresh food is plentiful at this location! The Bartender “Danielle” suggested the Pineappa Peru which was amazing. She was very attentive and personable, which is hard to find these days at eateries. Stopped in on a whim and I will definitely be back. Everything was phenomenal. The miso was perfection and the salad was as to be expected (slightly overdressed but crunchy and fresh). I ordered the Maki B plate with spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy crab. I devoured the salmon and tuna. They were amazing, fresh and not fishy or chewy. I didn't like the spicy crab. There was nothing "wrong" with it and it was equally fresh. I simply didn't like their flavor meld but attribute that to personal preference. 10/10 would order again. The atmosphere is amazing, the chefs doing hibachi are well trained. The owner is very personable, funny and extremely quality oriented and involved. Never had a bad time in this establishment and the food and drinks are really good, amazing for birthdays , gender reveals , wedding party's ext. Thank you for opening this place in lewiston auburn ! Food was good service was not. They forgot a sushi roll plate still charged me for it. When I asked for the plate that was missing and not a refund.. They swore up and down I recieved it in my friends separate order, my friend didn't get it either. $20 for sushi I didn't receive and $15 tip on a $62 ticket to the waiter that lied about my order instead of bringing my food. Won't eat here again. I'll stick to Pure Thai Kitchen. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

In my experience it is the best Japanese food you can get in Maine, excluding the coast that is. I would recommend any of the Bento Boxes especially the stake. That being said Don't miss out on sides like the Sexy jalapeños, a fresh Asian spin on the bar classic Jalapeño poppers.

Staff is amazing and the owner is always around making sure everything is flowing well, smiling and greeting everyone. Hibachi table is highly recommended, fish bowls and scorpion bowls, and always new craft beers, awesome specials all the time. Open mic on Wednesdays sets the mood just right.

I have no complaints at all! This was the best experience as a family we have ever had. There was17 of us and we had a blast. The food was delicious and the chef's were awesome. They do such an amazing job not only cooking but putting on a wonderful show. Thank you Sea 40 for a wonderful hibachi experience. We will definitely be back for round two of saki saki 👀👅🍻
