We took Thai kitchen cooking class and it worth every penny! Friendly chief and staff, nice tour to local market, fresh seafood and veggies. Cooking book as a compliment. Restaurant itself beautiful, with vibing Thai atmosphere. And you know this little details eg. cold fresh towels with lemon scent. Love it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

- Amazing interior design! - Friendly staff - Little miscommunication with our order - May get a little hot (no AC + spicy food) - Mosquitoes (dinner time) No doubt a beautiful restaurant away from the busier streets of Kata. The staff was friendly. But there was some miscommunication because we wanted iced tea but received hot tea. We also ordered an appetiser which came way after they cleared our main course (we also reminded the staff a few times). Be prepared to get a little hot, as there are no AC units. Ceiling fans could be felt only at certain tables. We also got bitten by mosquitoes several times. Best bring some mosquito repellent and spray yourself down before entering. The food was not bad! But also not extraordinary. There surely is room for improvement to enhance the restaurant experience. From a restaurant that looks that amazing, I expected a little bit more. Very good restaurant with great atmosphere. Their massaman curry is the best in Kata. Sawasdee Thai Cuisine was our favourite dining place during our stay at the Kata. Highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ฿800–900

Part of the sawasdee village hotel. Lighting is horrible. Very bright led-lights totally mismatch atmosphere of hotel! Food drowned in sauce. Not good. Waiter not friendly at all. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ฿500–600

Never go if you have any dietary restriction!! After showing them written in Thai that I am allergic to shellfish and making sure in my Pad Thai chicken there is no shellfish, I got my dish, started eating it and found half a prawn inside!! This is really unacceptable!!! I had to take medication and the whole stress this caused! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
