Amazing food, service and location. A wonderful place to get breakfast (6 people max). Make sure to wait out front after you put your name down. I recommend spending the time waiting out front to look over the menu. Hosts and servers are very kind and helpful. Food is really amazing, the French toast is quite scrumptious.

The greens come with a good amount of pork. And the cornbread with it is delicious. Also loved the corned beef as a side (very filling, even for a side portion, I think).

Corned Beef Hash
I stopped going here ages ago because of the long waits for very minimal seating. Little did I know, they have closed the indoor seating and opened up their beautiful patio, equipped with heating lamps. No reservations over the phone but they nicely update you how the long the current waitlist is. We waited about fifteen minutes before being seated. To keep a good rotation of patrons, they are well staffed, ready to take your order. Nice little menu, marked with dietary restrictions. I ordered the seasonal veggie sandwich (perfect for the vegans) and she ordered the daily pancakes and orange juice. For lactose intolerant they have oat or soy milk. Food came quickly and it was perfectly delicious.
Great customer service, wonderful ambiance, street only parking. Bathroom indoors where their old dining was.

The breakfast here is exceptional!! The corn cakes specifically are the best. Coffee you get unlimited. The vibe/ atmosphere is also super great.
Sometimes the staff isn’t so nice, but that really depends on the day. Also you should take to your consideration that the place is crowded, and that usually you will have to wait a bit outside before being seated…
Overall this place is the best, and would definitely recommend

My husband and I enjoy a locally owned restaurant. Sam's Log Cabin absolutely did not disappoint. We loved the food, service, and atmosphere. All of the food is over the top delicious, and the pancakes with Vermont syrup. *Chef's Kiss*. The pancakes here are one the best pancakes I have ever tasted in my life. The chilaquilles are not made how I am used to, but they remind me of how my grandmother used to make them. Texas style and very delicious. I am not sure if that is the same inspiration for theirs, but either way, very good. I also love how everything we have ordered here has been organic, fresh, and wholesome. The orange juice is freshly squeezed, which is the icing on the cake with any breakfast meal. Also, some of the staff here are bilingual, which is great in my opinion.

Working Hard Breakfast with the Rare French Toast Pancake Combo
Cute brunch restaurant with outdoor seating and a homey atmosphere. Feels like I’m sitting in someone’s backyard! Outdoor only and super dog friendly, with heaters and patio umbrellas as well. Arrived at around 10:50 on a Sunday morning with many people already in line but only had to wait about 15min for a table. Tasty food and friendly staff! For sure becoming one of our usual spots 😊

Corn Cakes
We had a lovely breakfast here! The servers were very friendly, the decor was beautiful (and fun!), and the atmosphere welcoming.
The raspberry almond pancakes, which they made into a smiley face for the kid, were delicious and 2 was way more than the kid could eat! The hot chocolate was piled with whipped cream. We had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, which were tasty and filling. The daily special scramble was also good.
The mochas were served in jar style mugs.
We appreciated the outdoor heating in the early morning chill.

It's always busy here but only waited about 10 minutes for patio seating, which is surprisingly spacious.
Ordered the lake trout & eggs, the blueberry lemon scone & latte. The trout was a bit dry but the scone (which is pretty big & sells quickly) satisfied my sweet tooth. Service was good, but since they're busy, can be slow at times.
