We had pizzas and they were great. Thin based and well covered with tasty ingredients. We sat outside under umbrellas at midday on a coolish afternoon. On a hot day sitting inside would be a better idea. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 100–150 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It is with great dissapointment that I am making this post. I live locally in Mcgregor and support the local businesses but this evening the service from Saggy Stone was not up to standard. I called at 19:00 to order a pizza,to be ready for collection at 20:00. Upon arriving at 19:55 we were informed by the kitchen that they didn't even start with the pizza yet. We sat there for the short period while they rushed off the pizza. Well recieved with an apology from the staff but when we arrived home, we discovered that the pizza base was still uncooked... We decided to return the pizza and rather consider another option in town. If this was an once off error I would've gladly let it go BUT this is the forth time we experienced this delay in service. The guys had a very pleasant early afternoon here while our spouses were out tasting wine. The beer was good and the tasters were a special treat. Our waitress was patient with a rowdy bunch of middle aged men and helped make our time especially enjoyable. We'll visit again next time we're in the area. Had THEE best experience! This taproom has very good beer. The food suprised us and was lovely and prices are on target. The personal is friendly and you soon feel at home!
