The best local Philippine food I have tried so far at Panglao during my 2 week stay here. Been here 4 times now and every time I have been more than pleased with the large portions, quality and presentation of the food. To top it off, the prices are fantastic and no tummy issues the next day (unlike many other places at Alona and around Panglao).
I've tried their special lombi soup, corn soup, chilli garlic crab, buttered shrimp, tuna bella sisig and a couple other dishes and they've all been 10/10. Amazing flavours and for cheap!

Quite disappointed with the food really. We ate here because it was near Solea Coast where we were staying. Asked the cook what fish dish she would recommend after we've ordered sisig, calamares, and chopsuey. She insisted on the red snapper,as it was freshly caught, cooked tinola style. It was the 'fishiest' stew I ever had (obviously not fresh or stored properly), ruined the whole meal and the taste of the other dishes. I can still remember the aftertaste of that soup, ugh. Surprisingly, the generic seafood chopsuey tasted much better than the other dishes, it was savory, with retained crispness of the veggies, tho' the brown look was a tad unappealing. The pitcher of cucumber lemonade came from a powder pack, with no attempt whatsover to put in some fresh cucumber slices, it was bland, probably half a sachet for the whole 1L pitcher. Bill came up to about 1.1k. I would suggest you order in advance, that way, the food will probably be well prepared; or better yet, eat somewhere else.

The food we ordered was excellent and the staff was friendly. The chef speaks excellent English and was able to describe some of the dishes to us. The service was quite slow however and some folks that showed up after us must have waited 45+ mins after ordering to get their food. Don’t come if you’re in a rush, but the food was tasty.

Great food and unexpectedly in a cheap price! Must try. Location is quite far from Alona but worth the travel. 👌🏼
Must try:
Grilled scallops, tuna kinilaw and buffalo chicken.

Really good Filipino food at reasonable prices. We went two nights in a row to try more items from the menu: kinilaw, pancit bihon/canton, grilled pompano, squid adobo, kangkong adobo, pinakbet... all great. Didn't have any shakes the second night, unfortunately. Big plus: San Mig Grande
