This place offers the kind of authentic experience that influencers like to pretend they're having. Obviously: It's a snackbar, so set your expectations accordingly. Everything is rinky-dink and food appears to be largely frozen/pre-made. However, it's situated nicely, there's a really good vibe, staff was incredibly friendly (despite the language barrier) and as far as greasy Portugese snackbar meals go: This was pretty good! If you're heading back to Funchal from a long hike, it's definitely worth taking a little detour to grab your snack here.
