I’m sad to be leaving this review as Cafe Rosalie used to be one of my favorite places to go. The food quality has gone down as has the service.
The quiche Loraine used to be amazing but the crust has gotten thick and hard and the egg part used to be so light almost like a savory custard - now it’s heavier and not as good. Also, the coffees now consistently come out 20-30 minutes after the food.
We tried to go there today and there was a sign that said ‘cash only’ - I asked one of the servers if that was still the case and she shot back with attitude, “yes! There are signs ALL over the STORE!”
Yes, I saw the sign, I was just confirming that was still the case as I’ve been to restaurants who forgot to take down the sign when their machines were back up.
Disappointed things aren’t as good as they used to be.

Mon préféré!!! Love! Love! Love! Is that too many loves? Maybe. But I love coming here! Let’s start with the staff bc I just adore them!
Every one is so sweet, chatty, attentive, they get to know the regulars (and they have a lot of regulars, I know since I’m always there) and always serve you with a smile.
Next, the interior, ambiance and decor: they decorate for every holiday! Valentines is adorable but Christmas transports you to a little village in Europe vibes. Truly puts you in the spirit of Christmas.
Food parfait! 👌 the brisket is my favorite. The fruit side is delicious - Berrys and Greek yogurt with a honey drizzle the salmon quiche is another worthy try. Oh and let’s not forget the French onion soup 🤤
Great selection of teas and coffees, delicious pastry’s, free lemon/cucumber infused water for self serve, ample parking, handicap accessible, though getting around inside might be a little tight. Outdoor patio seating with umbrellas and honestly, I love to have work meetings there since it’s so close to the 215. On the weekend they have live music and all around, whatever part of the city you live in, Rosallie’s is worth the drive.
