One of the best places in this strip of restaurants. Other places often seem busier but are not as nice. The setting is stunning, the food is delicious, the waiter is so charming and they offer small and large portion sizes which is perfect. They still use a charcoal grill too. Excellent service, waiters are geniuenly friendly, polite and helpful, they understand and speak english without any problem. Food is of great quality fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is like in italian movies. At the time of writing this if you order a breakfast you get a free coffee to choose. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came there several times. Meat grills there is great. The waitress and the chef always have moody face... not so friendly much. But anyway it still be our favorite grills restaurant.

Okay food for the price. Tried the cevapi which was made and grilled on the spot after order. Cost 3€ which was reasonable but what I didn't like was that you're only allowed to put maximum 4 toppings/fillings in the bread. This was told by the chef with a bitter facial expression. That would be fine if there was plenty of fillings and vegetables to chose from but they count ketchup as #1 , mayonnaise as #2 , onion as #3 and tomato as #4 . So you barely get any filling with no option to increase for a price... will probably try some place different next time Service Take out Meal type Lunch

Lovely seabass on spinach bed. Very tasty. Chicken Cesare salad with real Cesare dressing was very tasty & delicious. Wine first class. Service was brilliant. Owner couldn't do enough for use & we sampled food before choosing. Give it a go can't go wrong

First visit he had spag bol and I had Leskovacki Ust[pci (mixed minced meats), with bread both delicious, but he definitely had choice envy. So we came back and both had Leskovacki Ust[pci again with bread, as lovely the second time. Really like that the menu offers smaller and larger portion sizes. Lovely garden on the sea front, relaxed people watching position.

At first glance a nice place to eat, ordering was fine and friendly staff at first. But when we got our appetizers we didn't get what we ordered. The waiter said I made a bad choice and this was better for me. After that he kept apologizing but also saying it was better so he didn't make a mistake. We ate the appetizers and got the main course. Again we got something different than we ordered and in the end it was also more expensive than what we ordered. Same story with the excuse this was a better dish than what we ordered in the first place. Just walk past this place, plenty of better service and food on the rest of the coast!

So it's the pre-tourist season, and it's slow in Herceg Novi. We are one of the few tourists walking around, and not many places are open. We walk into Romana after reading all the great reviews about it, hoping for a good meal. There's one other couple in the restaurant, and we order what had come to be our standard order at this point in the trip... one of the grilled fish dishes and a chicken burger... 20 euros worth of food in total. Out runs a guy who we assume is the owner and says: "We just caught a beautiful fresh fish this morning! I saw you ordered the grilled branzino, but you MUST have this instead!" He runs back into the kitchen and actually BRINGS the fish to the table to show us. Now by this point in our trip, we had learned the difference between the regular ~15 Euro fish dishes, and the "first class" fish dishes that appear on many menus. So we assumed this was their first class fish (which on their menu was listed at around 40 Euros). So we thought why not... lets give it a try. So we said yes. And truly, the fish was delicious. Well prepared, fresh and tasty. We were delighted with our decision, but then, the bill came. The fish alone was 65 Euros!!!! There was NOTHING on the menu that was 65 Euros. And of course, the guy had vanished, leaving only the poor female waitress who didn't speak much English. Clearly, this guy was having a slow night and decided to make it up on us. This was the only place in all of our 10 days in Montenegro that scammed us.
