I had the stromboli, which was spot-on, but my friend had spaghetti & meat sauce & there really wasn't any meat in the sauce at all. I'm not sure if they're short-handed but the level of service with a sense of urgency was lacking. But I will say the staff is nice and friendly. As far as the environment... well the place could seriously benefit from an updated look. It felt drab and dreary and not very inviting. I'll be back though because it's a few blocks from home and the overall experience wasn't a bad one, like many other establishments, a second chance impression we earned. Amazing Italian food! For our first visit at Roma's Italian Restaurant we tried the Homemade Bread, WOW, it was delicious, not realizing they would bring us a basket of rolls and marinara sauce to our table first. I could not get over how delicious the sauce was. I ended up choosing the manicotti for dinner and it was truly the best I had ever eaten. My husband chose the Roma's Combo Dinner, which had ravioli, lasagna, and manicotti. He also said it was very good and told me we are definitely coming back to try their pizza next. My husband has been in food industry for over 15 yrs and when he compliments the food we always go back. If you're looking for an Italian Restaurant reasonably priced with Italian music playing in the background, and great food give Roma's Italian Restaurant a try. Loved the food, it was way better than OG!!!! Was here on a Saturday at 1pm. After eating I am very surprised that there was no one here. They do have carry out so that may have been why.
