Great little place for tabletop games. They even have a little coffee shop connected to the store itself so it smells amazing in there. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. It will definitely be a regular DnD spot for our group.

Best prices I have found outside the internet. These people are about the games and those who play them. Could not be happier that this place has moved into the area. And the "geek themed" coffee shop attached to it allows you to caf up if you need to.

This place is great. I have been to several game stores that do not welcome newbies to the scene, but at R.O.E. I was welcomed from the get go. It is clean, does not smell like a basement, is family friendly, and is being constantly improved for a upscale evening destination at the “tavern”. I highly recommend you spend your gaming dollars here and make a few new friends in the process.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable. Very helpful and welcoming to new people. This hidden gem of a shop is great for anyone looking to start a new game or make new friends for a huge variety of games. Active games include d&d, 40k , wrath & glory, garlands, red dragon inn, and shadowrun.

Friendly staff and a good selection. Visited this spot on a trip, and came back again today. It was well worth going out of my way. One word of warning. If you're coming from I65, beware the trains. They can take block access to main street, so be prepared for creative routing to get there.
Joined a weekly game here for several months with my son and had a lot of fun. Got to know the owners, the staff and many of the regulars. We definitely felt like part of the family. They have gaming tables set up in the back and even a private table/room for ‘guild members’. Last year, our weekly game fell on Halloween night.. everybody dressed up and they had it catered. The new location in Calera is next door to a gaming themed coffee shop(!), and I believe ROE has a small (limited) bar in house now? Pretty cool for a gaming shop. We were fairly new to tabletop gaming, but the owners and the rest welcomed us and helped us fit right in. All in all, easily one of the best spots around greater Bham for tabletop gaming. Go check it out. Have fun!

Is a nice shop only wish they had a better selection of alcohol 🤪 Reported the 1 star for the guns allowed sign since it has no bearing on the business itself. Just a self-righteous rude person who doesn't respect the right to bear arms. 🙄💩

The people are nice and really friendly. There's always someone to answer any question. Board game prices are a bit high. Great selection of citadel paints. A genuine place that cares about their customers.
