Heard all about the famous onion burger, and stopped here to check it out. It didn't disappoint, the burger was good, though I like my burgers rare, the way they cook these that's not really an option, but the flavor was great, and the fries were perfect..service was good, stop by when you are in the area. Had my first onion burger and was not disappointed. I have nothing to compare it with, so I’ll say it was delicious and I enjoyed it. The bacon cheeseburger was also tasty and the fries were perfectly done with a very nice crisp. This was a nice, no frills joint with one nice youngsters working hard in a small area. If you’re passing through, I highly recommend this place. If you live there, I’m sure you already know. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains.

I grew up in El Reno. Onion burger? Four stars! Service? One cook, one counter person, twelve stools along the counter...very personal interaction. Atmosphere? Great if you like authentic onion burger joint. This place is the only vintage burger joint left. Johnnies has booths and tables, as does Sid's. If you want the real deal, Roberts is the place. In the land Sooner, if your not first you're last! Staff was very helpful and informed of the 1st history ;) The Fried Onion Burger was delicious that my appetite lured into adding a Cooney as the cherry on top. Just what we were looking for, a great burger (onion) and fries. He also let us try the chili and it was sooooo good I ordered a bowl... Best chili dog sauce I have ever had. The slaw was great too. This place is a must stop. We came all the way from Minnesota and it was worth it.

If it was just based on food and service, this would be a perfect score. But the atmosphere is the only knock, I love it, if I am by myself, just grab eat and go. But it is so tiny inside. this is a place where you have the bar to eat and that is it. Cool place long standing, iconic, excellent burgers. But the best point is it is cheaper than any fast food joint. Robert's was great! I ordered a grilled onion burger stuffed with slaw and chill then more chili over the top. It was great! The atmosphere is nice. It's a small and cozy diner! Although it's a burger spot..they also serve breakfast on Saturday mornings. Go try it!! I forgot to tip because I was excited about getting rid of my quarters 🙃. This place is a delicious dive. The food was delicious and fresh/hot but the stools were old and broken, the equipment in the kitchen (right in front of you) looked to be original to the building and the inside was not the cleanest. But it def wasn’t affecting the food at all!!! You watch them cook in front of you, so that was a plus. This whole place has bar seating and ONLY seats 15 ppl at one time. I had the fried onion double meat burger and fries. Delicious!! This is home made food made right in right of you. Little bitty diner. Food was great. If you’re looking for fast delicious old style burgers or coneys here it is. Again this is a small diner but it’s definitely worthwhile to visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
