This restaurant has amazing food that you can tell is homemade with fresh ingredients. The food quality is amazing and the people who make and serve it are always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend coming in, seating yourself, and enjoying a wonderful breakfast/lunch/dinner here anytime you can. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came for dinner on Black Friday. There wasn’t much of a crowd, which is good because they aren’t fully staffed. Despite slightly slow service, it still gets five stars in my book because, for the price and area, the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Apparently, they have Mexican food on Sundays and Tuesdays so we’ll have to come back for even more deliciousness. I got the steak salad which featured a well seasoned steak and generous portions. We were greeted and seated promptly. We didn't want a full lunch, so we ordered a plate of nachos and an order of cheese curds. After waiting for 30 minutes, we saw that multiple customers who came in after us received their orders before we got ours. Finally, our server plopped the nacho plate on our table, but no plates, and no cheese curds. We had to ask for both. The nachos were cold, and the meat was Hormel canned chili. We won't go back. We've been going here since they opened. At first it wasn't that great but they were newly opened, so we didn't expect it to be top of the line. After awhile they worked out the kinks and we have enjoyed the food many times. The food is always good but the service has been awful. We've walked out twice because of it. I have never walked out of a restaurant and this one, I've walked out twice.The waitress walked right by us, looked at us and ignored us. Didn't give us menus, or ask if we wanted drinks. They weren't busy either time that happened. If they were busy, I could understand slow service but even then, drop off the menus and ask about drinks so at least the people have something to drink while they wait. You could just tell the waitress didn't want to be there and didn't want to work. The other night we went and again service was awful. There were 8 people in the whole place and it took almost an hour to get our food. Once the food came, the waitress never came back to ask us about refills or to give me the bill or a to-go box. My husband got tired of waiting and left to get the car. I finally chased down the waitress for a to-go box and didn't wait for her to bring the bill. I just went to the counter and waited. If I had to sit at the table and wait it would have been an even longer visit. Almost an hour to get our meal, then we were finished with our meal for probably another 20 minutes before I got her attention. By that time we were the only people in there. We live right by this restaurant and have given it plenty of opportunities for improvement but after the other night, we wont be going back anytime soon. Anyone that gives this place a bad review, they're smoking crack or they're parents did when they breast fed them. It's all about the Chicken Fried Chicken! Or Country Fried Chicken. So good. All the Mexican is amazing. It's also nice to have good Mexican in this podunk town. Carmen and her husband are just the nicest people. If you have a problem with the service get use to it. It's the environment were in right now. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

In the area for an activity. We stopped here based upon the reviews. We found a table easily as it wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon. We were met after a brief wait for drink orders which came out promptly. We placed our orders and that's where it went downhill. The food took the better part of an hour to arrive. If the place was slammed it would be understandable, however, it was fairly quiet. The food, once finally delivered was mediocre at best. The fried cod was not good, it had very little flavor and was completely dried out. The Ruben was ok, the bacon cheese burger was good according to my son. While I do understand that it's difficult to manage a kitchen when it's busy, as I mentioned twice it was not busy at all. There really was no excuse for the slow kitchen service, which, when compounded with the mediocre food earned this establishment a measly 2 stars. The menu had a large selection to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner and everything in between. Tacos were very good, you could get as many as you wanted. We met with family after church for breakfast. We had found the restaurant on the internet. We had never been here before and we were very pleased with the restaurant. It was very clean, the food was great, prices were reasonable and the service was great. We did have a little bit of a wait for our food but it was worth the wait. Like most places that you go to they are looking for help and a little bit of a wait is understandable. We go out for breakfast once a week and decided this will be one of our breakfast stops.
