Great place for a hearty lunch! Went to grab a bite and had the meatloaf. My date had the bbq chicken salad. What a meal! Exactly the kind of comfort food I was hoping for. Great burger! Jules was behind the bar during lunch and was a joy. First time in the area and she filled me in on what to do in town. Cozy atmosphere, felt like everyone that walked in knew each other. Only thing I’d change is the bun on my burger was a touch small for the amount of items on the burger. Still give it a 5 as the flavor was a home run. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A friend recommended River House. We went with a large group including several children. We had the best waitress! All of our meals were very good. My husband had the Reuben and I had the turkey pesto sandwich. They were both delicious. The sweet potato fries were the best I think I’ve ever had. First time visitors going off both a recommendation and proximity to The Mark for a Storm game. We were seated quickly and ordered. The food came quickly, which was good because we wanted to be sure to make the puck drop. The fries were certainly the highlight, and my order of a build-your-own burger was good, too. But among out party the reviews of the food quality were not nearly as good - mozz sticks, steak, and a chicken sandwich were not well received. Unfortunately that will probably mean we won't go back, even thought the service and atmosphere were both terrific.
