Having known this place for years, love it!! Some folks are excited about the bread… it is unique!! However we come for the Setting, Service, Staff, and the Food!! I wish I had taken pictures of my Omelette, my family’s Breakfast-Sandwiches and wife’s Salad. Unfortunately by the time I thought about it; there was nothing left on the plates!! 😊
A rainy day in the region, and I wanted to try someplace new for breakfast. I drove to Mount Morris, PA to a place called Rising Creek Bakery (aptly named, as the creek was rising behind the restaurant).
I loved the atmosphere of the place, from the geese outside to the welcoming dining area, the building was beyond my wildest imagination. I ordered the Omelet and an order of French Toast with bacon. I need to mention that the toast and French Toast were made from salt rising bread that is baked onsite.
The omelet was stuffed full of onions, green peppers, white cheddar cheese and ham. To put it in simple terms, it was amazing! Great taste and value! The French toast was made to perfection, and the homemade bread was a real treat! I actually purchased a loaf of the salt rising bread to have at home.
I will return here many times in the future to enjoy the good food, and as spring and summer arrive, the outdoor seating!

Such a neat cozy place! Super close to the creek. They have in house salt raised bread! Soooo good🤤. Baked goods are mega tasty and amazingly delicious!!
Also, they have indoor & outdoor dining with a small gazebo table area, very scenic. Employees/cooks were super nice, knowledgeable, fast, and amazing.
After two fabulous birthday pies in the past 2 weeks (one apple and one mixed berry) i have to say, these bakers make THE BEST fruit pies on the planet. The crust is perfect- flakey and buttery and beautiful. The filling perfect, plenty of delicious fresh fruit, scrumptious flavor and not too sweet. We have tried other pies, but Rising Creek’s are at another level. Truly homemade with the best ingredients and some impressive artistry. ♥️😋
Delicious baked goods with wonderful staff. Came by to grab a bunch of cookies, and each kind was great! Saw some breakfast items going out, and they looked great as well. Next time I'm in, I'll def be trying a breakfast/brunch meal here

Love stopping at this out-of-the-way location for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. They’re amazing.
We make a trip just for the salt rising bread regularly. However, we absolutely must have lunch while we are there and grab a sweet treat!! We LOVE it there. Always great and always friendly folks.
