Nice stop here for the ambience, fun, and merriment. They have several staff members that are consistently checking if you’ve been served or not. The fritters were mostly a miss despite having a variety of seemingly good options. I liked the relleno de papa and pollo but the pastelillo de pernil’s meat was dry and rather tasteless and the alcapurria was too greasy. I used their hot sauce to help with the pastelillo, and I’m glad I did; the bartender placed three of their housemade ones in front of me without me asking, and the avocado and coconut sauces were great. I recommend buying and taking home the coconut one. 🥥 I’d come back for the vibe and music.

Relleno De Papa
The food is great, especially the empanadillas de conejo. Beers are cold and the atmosphere is great. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars was because there was a full trash can full of garbage at the entrance.

Loved the food here, if you want to eat Puerto Rican Cuisine this plate would be it. It has fried plaintain, little balls of Mofongo, 1lb of Chicharrones de Pollo (Small Fried cuts of chicken) very delicious, 1 lb of smoked pork seasoned with Puerto Rican spices, and 1lb of fried pork. The plate is very delicious and enough for 4- 5 people to eat. The drinks Mojitos were awesome as well. The staff very friendly and very professional. That afternoon they had live music very pleasant. I almost forgot about their appetizer fried cheese very good loved especially my wife she will kill for them because she loves them. My experience was very nice and Ibloved the place. If you come to eat here you must have patience because the food is done at the moment so you will receive freshly hot cooked plate to eat, I'm sure you will enjoy it too.
The fried cheese with guava sauce is great. The skirtsteak Mofongo with garlic sauce is incredible. My wife had the shrimp. Everything was delicious.

Queso Frito Con Salsa Guayaba
This food is amazing!!!! On our way from San Juan to Salina we stopped at this place it’s a restaurant kinda bar they have delicious empanadas and special lunch menu everything here is fresh and homemade!! The owner was very nice. RECOMMEND
Definitely one of Puerto Rico's best "chinchorros" (roadside bar & restaurant kiosks), specializing in pork. It doesn't have many tables, but that is the beauty of chinchorros, you sit where you can and enjoy your "carne frita, carne ahumada or morcillas" (fried pork, smoked pork or blood sausages) with your bare hands (of course, there are forks, knives and spoons for those needing such utensils). You should try the "empanadillas de tripleta" and the "rellenos de apio con bacalao." Most everything comes from the land... from the plantains for the tostones (fried mashed plantains) and the "ñame de monte" (mountain taro root), to the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice for your rum cocktail. The bar is astoundingly well stocked and includes the local "pitorro" (moonshine) cured in coconuts.
Salsa music is always on the loudspeakers and some days there is live music.
This is what Puerto Rico is about; good food and drinks and even better friends on the countryside.
They have precious parking space --though limited. Cash is always preferred, but debit cards from local banks are accepted. Not so sure about credit cards. Remember, is a chinchorro.
