Ricobene's is a Chicago institution and for good reason. Their breaded steak sandwich is legendary and definitely lives up to the hype. The combination of the marinara sauce, cheese, and giardiniera peppers make it a delicious and unique experience. The sandwich is huge, so come hungry and don't wear a white shirt! The Chicken Vesuvio Classic is also a must-try. There are plenty of other items on the menu that are worth exploring, such as their eggplant Parmesan sandwich, pizza, Italian beefs, and garlic bread. Ricobene's also offers slices and whole pies for those looking for a quick snack. Prices are reasonable, and you'll definitely get your money's worth here. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a bit of an issue, as the lot across the street is filled with potholes. But if you're willing to take the risk, the deliciousness of Ricobene's is worth it. Highly recommend!
