So, its Weng Soon Tek or WSO? Saw another review on Weng Soon Tek but this gain more review. So, I decided to review here. And so, WSO or Weng Soon Tek?
Came on Sunday (19 Mac 2023) around 11am. Its famous for mee yoke (or hokkien mee or prawn noodle) that claimed to have similarity taste as of Penang. Unfortunately, I cant find that taste.
Also, apam balik is not bad either. That shop does sell chicken rice and pork noodle as well.

I found myself in Taman Sri Muda, a place I've never been before, to visit my friend's church. My mission was simple: grab a bite to eat and some hot tea to keep me going during the church service. So, I turned to my trusty companion, Google Maps, in search of a quick stop. That's when I stumbled upon Restoran Weng Soon Tek - a small but bustling food court that seemed to have it all.
I wasted no time in grabbing my go-to drink, a piping hot milk tea, and a packet of chai kueh to stave off my morning hunger. The kueh was simply delicious - a satisfying blend of flavors that hit the spot just right. And the tea - oh, the tea - it was enough to keep me wired for the entire sermon.
After the service, my friend and I were in the mood for Chinese food. And what do you know - he took me right back to the same food court I visited earlier that day. Apparently, this place was a hot spot for foodies and locals alike.
As I scanned the stalls, my eyes landed on a roasted chicken and char siew display at the chicken rice stall. My craving for wantan mee was strong, but I couldn't resist the temptation of this mouth-watering combo. So, I went for the wantan mee with roasted chicken and char siew. And boy, was it worth it - a decent and satisfying meal that left me feeling full and content.
To wash it all down, I ordered a teh peng, which was decent enough to quench my thirst. All in all, Restoran Weng Soon Tek is a decent place for a quick tea and a meal. And with other good reviews of different food options, I'll definitely be back to explore more.

Hi guys. For this restaurant.. i always buy nasi goreng / meehoon Singapore/ nasi goreng tomyam from this shop. I know this shop from the age of 3 years old. The taste never changed so does the speed. They cook very fast. But they also serve other food for breakfast like nasi ayam, Chee Chong fun and in evening u can get apam balik. Thats all. Btw if u buy nasi goreng ask for sambal. It's delicious together
Decent restaurant with mixed rice as their focus. Their dish selection features plenty of vegetables and meats varieties. Flavour wise it was decent and I didn't have Ajinamoto syndrome after dining there. Best of all, their price was great as I took 2 Vege and one meat and all it cost was RM 6.
One complain though, their washroom is terribly dirty. Yikes.
Had prawn mee first time after reading so many reviews. Not bad but also not exactly the best. At RM6 it is a fair price because not lots of ingredients.
