Happen to pass by at the main road leasing to the roundabout and saw this restaurant. About dinner time and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly the dishes are good but not that super terrific. Service and assistance are adequately comforting. Overall experience is good and will come back for other dishes. I read some comments that were given single star. Are they really so bad that they only deserve a single star? Example, A fly in your dish and they fail to say sorry and they deserve a single star? The discount is not adequately an apology? You know not everyone knows how to say sorry in words but they do it with actions. Do you think they really want to cook your dish with a fly in it? We got to rate business operators professionally. Running a business is really tough. Really tough, but we are sure everyone put so much effort to earn a living. Be emphatically fair. Some businesses really depend on good rating to sustain. Thumbs up for the fried long beans and brinjal. The fried fish with chopped garlic is also quite decent. But the clams in superior stock are just tasteless. Zichar restaurant nested amongst a row of shop houses in Klang. Fish specialist apparently, with prices clearly stated in menu. Transparent pricing, I like! Curry fish was the star of the day. Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced curry spices. Perfect for white rice corbo loading! Other dishes were excellent too, like butter prawn, kam heong fried fish, tofu crab meat soup. The food is tasty and has specific prices, you don't have to worry about over price problems, the environment is nice and easy parking also has Aircon here. I like they ginger fish so yummy... My son just come back from overseas, so first thing I ask him what Malaysia food you miss the most? Food was great esply their fried kangkung w dried squid dipping, a rather refreshingly new dish w a twist. Dipping was sweet-savoury , vege was hot and crunchy. Yums. He kor - mantis prawn was great too but seriously small in portion. We visited on chao goh mei and understandably the place was crowded. Took an hour or more for food to arrive. By then, we're flattened by hunger. Seatings upstairs was crazy noisy due to the interior. Without any sound proofing efforts, it was nauseatingly noisy despite w just 7 tables or so. Boss was nice and friendly, parking is ok in front of the restaurant. Comfort really has a lot for improvement. The bean curd with crab meat soup; stir fry fish are the two favourite dishes at this restaurant. As usual, the taste are as delicious as per my last visit which was about one year ago, especially the bean curd soup, which taste like the shark fin soup. My last visit to this restaurant was 2 years ago, I must say the taste is the same and that’s good as they can maintain the consistency in taste. Do try the claypot tofu stew, salted egg pumpkin, their signature steam fish, etc. 20230402 and we’re back, still packed as ever.
