We went to this restaurant for our first evening in Paul do Mar and it was a great way to kick off our holiday here. The food was very tasty, amazing fish grilled on barbecue and great local drinks as well, poncho and rhum. The service was excellent and the view on the sea just completed for a lovely evening. Aesthetic but disappointing food; fish of the day was bland and didn't taste particularly fresh, salad had very unhealthy tomatoes. A bit surprised given the positive reviews, I might give it another try.

Terrible service. Witnessed the waiters to brown nose all portuguese-speaking clients while letting the other half of the clients to wait over 30 minutes before even letting them to order drinks! Disclaimer: we arrived to half empty restaurant during lunchtime... Cherry on the top was throwing the bill to our table without saying a single word. The food is passable, but I rate the food 1 star as well, since when combined with the toxic attitude, it does take away the pleasure of eating. We loved this place. It's typical and local. Full of people of the town, surfers, neighbors and just a few tourists. The food is stunning and you get really good quality. They serve local vines and the service was personal and professional. Tip : if you order the fish stew for 2, either ask at least one more person to join, or ask to take home the rest, as the portion is massive and absolutely delicious 😋
