A very nice place to eat considering that this was the most decent place to eat like a restaurant. You can try the local vendors in the plaza but it was so hot and humid and no circulation that I couldn't take it so we chose this place open and it let the breeze through. Very touristy. Three of us ordered the the 3 taco plate and one ordered nacatamale a traditional tamale made by nicas. All very delicious with not too much salt thank goodness. We had mojitos and their local beer. The walls had pictures of the historical people and places. Next door was the governors office and one of the governors was related to our family I was proud to say! Great place for lunch and dinner, just in front of the cathedral of León. Good food, cold beers, excellent coffee. The ambience is relaxing and the cooling system in the exterior tables is wonderful. Great location on the plaza. I ordered the Beef kabobs. I have had fantastic beef here in Nicaragua. If it doesn't say export quality. Don't order. Gristle and tough. I tried this for the people. Service excellent. Drinks excellent. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

El Sesteo is a very delicious place. I tried a few things including a Churrasco (Skirt Steak) and would totally stop by again. I ordered a medium cooked churrasco and it was very tasty and juicy. The local beer Toña was icy cold and was great! If you are in the Leon area I would totally recommend you stop by. The view to the plaza and cathedral is very nice and if there is an outdoor concert you will experience being front row.

Very nice view, friendly staff, but there's almost no veggie option, loads of meat, and the prices are ridiculously high. Too expensive! Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Nice corner cafe right on the central plaze very close to the church. Great place to have a coffee or beer to pass the time people watching. Also has decor that showcases Nicaraguan myths and legends. Priced for foreign tourists. Food is okay.

Loved this place! We tried the nacatamale, one of their salads, their kabob, and quesadilla, all of it was good, but the nacatamale was amazing! We also tried some of their juices and those were fresh and really good! Fun environment, good services, and a beautiful view of the cathedral.
