Very nice place and good food. Good choice of drinks and wines. Hard to find as it is in a slum area where gps gets confused as to where you are

Clean, with a pleasant ambience. Staff friendly, helpful and can explain the dishes. Reason for only 3 stars. * While the menu is quite extensive, not all the dishes were available. * No white wine available by the glass. * No Soda Water. * No Cider. * Breaded/Crumbed Chicken Breast (Bife Frango Panado) simply sliced Chicken Breast and over-grilled - dry. Dissapointed. Kitchen and shortage of drinks stock, definitely let the Restaurant down. (March 2022).

It's a must to eat in A Fornalha, amazing food, but staff are becoming not to pleasant regarding account and steal changes, which is unfortunately as the place is very good.
