This is a fantastic restaurant! We had starters, main course with wine and dessert for two. Each dish was absolutely delicious and it was such good value ... 37€ for all of the above. Very, very noisy! AC not working. Fortunately we have reserved otherwise no place available. Food was ok, but service was not as expected: waiters not speaking Portuguese correctly and clearly trying to move everything fast. Not if I ever will return here. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The best restaurant in Vila Real de Santo António. The most helpful and professional service. Fresh and perfectly cooked fish. Good wine, and typical couvert. Recommend vivadly. Best time to arrive for lunch between 12 and 12h30. We were a family of 10 with 3 small children and was the best meal of our vacations.

Had lunch here, I had a cheese and ham toastie. Nice but very little ham and so little cheese, I thought at first it had been forgotten. Hubby had nuggets and he thought they were ok, I didn't like them at all. The fish served here is much better value, fresh and beautifully barbecued. We were very hungry today so didn't have the fish opting instead for a sandwich, wish I had had fish as usual. Walked around Villa Real to try and find something for lunch. We chose this menu from a bunch of others as it had a good range. Pictures didn’t actually do the food any justice. Most looked quite plain and simple but the food was bursting with flavour. Our table had a range of things from clams to whole fish. The portions were generous, the accompanying food on the plate again looked quite plain and boring but was amazingly so full of flavour. My mum had the small cuttlefish and it was the tastiest choco we have ever had. We also tried a large range of desserts. Had a great fish lunch here with a bottle of Vino Verde for €30 for two. Grilled Dorada and Sea Bass, delicious and so fresh. We noticed the restaurant because of the queue, always a good sign, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Thank you Christina for looking after us so well.
