This could be the worst dine-in experience ever for me and my family. I would rate zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price. It all began with some foreign workers, untrained and started serving you drinks which were totally different from what you ordered. Imagine they served you your ice lemon tea, using kopi-o with lemon slices instead. Kopi served like in mamak stall style. Worst part, he served each drink with all his 5 fingers gripping on top of the glass, not the handle on the side. Gross!! They did changed the drinks for us, but turned out be all watery and tasteless! The pork satay was another let down. The peanut sauce was too thick, dense and muddy. Pork satay taste overly marinated with msg! Best part was the restaurant's boss wasn't around, leaving it to an Indon lady to run the show. All foreign workers. The boss only showed up when we started complaining. That was also when the Indon lady gave us her boss name card. The vibe, drinks, and food felt ridiculously whitewashed. The giant pork patty might be the owner's main selling dish but I thought the star dish was the pork satay! Right up there amongst the best pork satay I've tasted! Meat was so tender and flavoursome even before dipping into the satay sauce. Other worthy mentions were the bacon Siew yoke which I ordered to go with the Hakka mee - heavenly combo. The Siew yoke crispy skin emitted a cracking sound when chewed whilst the hakka mee was just right il dente! (cooked just right with a chewy bounce). We only arrived at around 2pm and hardly anyone was there. Service was a bit slow though but didn't appear to be understaffed I thought. Ordered pork satay. But seriously the sauce is microwave reheated. You can even see the dried up sauce at the side of the bowl. Come on. It can go worst if the kitchen got inspection I believe. Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Visited this abit out of the way shop specializing in pork dishes. Ordered their pork satay, five spices yam lobak, nasi lemak, curry pork cutlet rice n their signature pork patty rice. Ordering and service was messy as they were really understaff. Food luckliy arrived all correct after a short wait. Really need to commend them on their food, if you were to rate each ingredient individually it is just normal at best but the sum of all things really brings out the flavour and make your clamouring for more 👍👍👍 Pricing are average to steep depending on your choices. Portion are reasonable. Miss the five star because of operation issues. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40

These days even purveying food needs a compelling narrative (preferably on social media) - an angle, a hook: “70-year old recipe, giant-sized, 7 distinct toppings, free flow lard chips, etc.” Well that’s what was needed to drag us to the other side of the city 45 minutes away for a porcine-based lunch - which was competent but not mind-blowing. Of greater interest was the roasted aged pork shoulder which was not on the menu but only available preorder online.
Food is good. Place is clean & spacious. Plenty of pork dishes. Their signature is of course the aged roast pork. Nasi lemak with the pork rendang is very good. Pork satay meat is succulent. Free pork crackling to add to dishes. This is of course not a coffee place. Parking is easy on kerbside. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20

I would advise you to come here on an empty stomach and come with a group of friends. Why? Because you will want to order a lot of the items on their menu! Their pork is cooked just right (not fried too much). Everything from the nasi lemak to the curry noodles is yummy - even the porridge. That was an extra order for us. We had to try it so we ordered it for sharing 😄. They were not kidding about the pork lards. It is served in a huge jar and you can take as much as you want and come back for multiple refills. I plan to drag an even bigger group here next time I return.
The place clean and the staff can give you some recommendation for 1st time at there. I try their Nasi Lemak with Pork Patties serve you some crispy pork lard to go with the nasi lemak. Actually is nice combination. The meat roll (五香肉) is nice. Share with friend If you don’t wanna too crowded go before 12pm. Quiet and sit and chat with friend. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

The decor fits well into this chinese village. Very interesting and tasty variety of food. Price is above average compared to village food but to be expected for the quality and ambience. Owner and workers are friendly but a slightly under staffed. loved the pork crisps (chee yau char) in the nasi lemak and hakka noodles.

It's a unique concept. The rice bowl was rich and sinful with lots of porky oil and the option to heap the pork lard on. I found the patty slightly disappointing though, as I think the texture suffered from too much flour being added in. However, the mince was the saviour of the dish. It's a good, hearty bowl for the price though and this was evident through the group of construction workers at the next table. The Thai noodles was just too sweet, and the noodles itself weren't great. As the waiter informed us that it was a monthly (or was it weekly?) experimental dish, maybe this will be more hit or miss. Location is quite far for me but if I'm in the area, I would consider coming back.
