Loved, loved, loved this place!!! I was born and raised in Poland and the food tasted super authentic, just like I remember from childhood. The waitress was super nice. The decor is something out of the 80s, with a projector screen displaying old photos from the 70s and 80s. I see that people have trouble with the translation of the dishes and I think they’re right. Polish people obviously have no issues with this but I can see someone’s confusion if there is a language barrier. They should have their menus professionally translated! That said, I had zurek (white soup) which was just like I remember from childhood. I have not had zurek like this in YEARS. For main meal, I had placki with stew and that was also absolutely delicious. There was shredded cheese on the stew which was a little confusing…..keep it traditional!!!! Also, OGORKI were absolutely horrible. I am not changing my star rating but these were just a crime. I believe the waitress told me they were homemade on site and were neither sour nor anywhere in between. They were absolutely horrible and did not taste like ogorki kiszone!!!! My sister had the liver which was very good. For desert, we had szarlotka which was delicious and sernik which was also very good!
