No offence to the Owner but New cook,needs to go "lightly" on the salt! Perhaps the cook needs to taste food during the seasoning of their dishes, the food looked so delicious was rather disappointed this visit... I've been there a couple of time and have specific dietary restrictions. They remembered my specifications. An amazing crew always service with a smile ☺ . My Partner and I came in for lunch, it wasn’t very busy, three or four tables other than us. We ordered loaded wedges and a steak sandwich. After we had ordered we got told it was a 30 minute wait which we were fine with, 30 minutes go by and we have no food on our table yet whilst other tables who had only been waiting for 10 minutes had received their food. 45 minutes go by and the waiter tells us our food is 6 min away… which showed us that they had not started cooking our food until just then, it’s not like they were busy during this time. We then go on to wait another 20 minutes and our food finally comes out. The wedges I had were still cold and not very well seasoned. My partners steak sandwich was just sandwich bread with a well over cooked steak slapped in the middle with old veges, the egg in the sandwich was crunchy…. and not in good way. A very nice atmosphere in cafe lovely friendly staff, great coffee. My husband and I felt if cafe is to succeed though it needs more choices of lunch foods, in cabinet. Cakes look delicious. My scone only had two small pieces of date. Burgers and chips don't do it for everyone. I do hope you can up the menu and we will return to see. Good luck. Meal type Lunch

Pleasant owner/manager BUT food is not worth it. The reset food was bland and overpriced. $23 for a rib burger with a small rib let (I suspect from the supermarket) a plain burger bun and undercooked frozen chips. For the money I would expect something a little more unique. Stretch your legs and try all the other great cafes within walking distance. Next block is Curious Little Bagel, round the corner is Yellow House whilst a 5 minute walk gets you to Parnells. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
