The girls and I haven't been to Recipes for a few years, but nothings changed. The food was delicious, I tried something different this time. I didn't order any meat because the portions are usually big and I'm weight watching lol. First time here for my husband and I and we absolutely loved it! We went today for breakfast. My husband got The Big One omelette and I got the skillet… hmm I can’t remember the name but it starts with a B. So delicious. My husband always finishes his meals wherever he goes but he actually needed a box because they give PLENTY of food. The staff is kind and attentive. Our waters and coffees never were empty. Ate a late brunch here today. The food is delightful. The hot chocolate was amazing, and larger than most places offer. We ate the blackberry biscuits as an appetizer - it was warm and sweet and tart and just a touch savory. I had the country eggs Benedict. My first one the egg was perfectly runny. It was like eating a warm hug. Seriously some of the best comfort food I've had in years. My second one the egg was slightly overcooked, and I ran out of gravy, which was tragic because it was so good! Been here twice and both times it was good. They try to raise the bar on breakfast, and I think they do but I just don't like omelets that have the mix-ins just on the service, added after the egg was cooked, then folded in half. I prefer they be mixed in and the next time I go I will ask for that style. Good coffee. Good service. Pricey. Recipes has the most delicious and wide variety of breakfast and lunch entrees. The specials are definitely worth an order. Chicken and Waffles Benedict is highly recommended. This restaurant is highly recommend when you are visiting Troy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Eggs Benedict options and croissant French toast are two of my favorites here. I wish they’d tune the radio a bit better and not blast separate music from the kitchen on ocassion. Those are my only gripes, but the breakfast here is excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious brunch place in troy neighborhood. They have choices of all brunch options. The taste is little milder but I loved it. The service is friendly with smile. The coffee cup is truly bottomless (did not see bottom throughout our time in restaurant). They serve great lake coffee. I tried stack of three strawberry and whip cream pancake... Yummiieee. I would visit this place again to try different dishes.

Nice place great menu. Staff was barely present. Food was decent but when It came a d was wrong by the time noticed waitress was gone. Never to be seen we asked for the bill 15 minutes later. Such a cute establishment. Very friendly service. The waitress, Sharon, never let our coffee or water cup get low. Everything was delicious and served quickly. My only minor complaint is their parking is easy to miss.
