Such a great place to have an evening meal. Wonderful service, really tasty food. The owner was lovely, the food took some time to prepare, but they make the food to order, so that is understandable. And, as long as you like the people you are with, you can talk, dance to music, and enjoy the evening as you smell and watch your meal being cooked fresh. I had the most delicious vegetarian taco (monky) there! Too delicious that I forgot to take photos before they were all gone. I regret a lot that I did not order some for to-go. Also, the mandarin ginger beverage was great! The staff were very friendly and love the vibe there! We showed up here unannounced on New Year’s Eve with a group of 12, including kids from 10 months to 8 years old, and had the best dinner of our trip to Mexico. Excellent pastor, chuleta, arrachera, and agua fresca. The best vegetarian/vegan options we can remember at a Mexican taco establishment (including Gracias Madre in CDMX and many others). The Monki tacos—ripe plantains—were special; the sopes were great. Service was wonderful. It’s a small, simple place with a lot of character and love. You might feel you’re lost when looking for this place. This small restaurant is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Their reggae vibes made me feel welcomed and the food here was delicious. We liked it so much that we ordered a second round of food. The food is fairly priced and vegetarian friendly

Awesome tacos. The Rib eye rasta is delicious, rhe combination of the rasta style veg and the beef is exquisite. The. Bistec and campechano are also very good choices to make for carnivores. We also tried the Monki vegetarian style taco which was almost like a pastor taco (better than most you get) but vegetarian. Super chill atmosphere, great service.
