Ranjit is a very friendly owner and runs this little cafe with his family. The portios are big and inexpensive. The food was very delicious, so far the best that we have tries. Eat food at local places and not the hotel restaurants. ✌️

Great local spot for an authentic curry at a reasonable price. Ranjith is an endearing and cheeky chap who made a solo traveler (me) feel welcomed and at home, as did the rest of the family on shift in the kitchen.

Ordered rice and curries, waited a long time, the rice was the cheapest and not very tasty, the curries were 2 of 4 not bad. But we found many places where prices are lower and much tastier.

We visited three times here on our holiday. Food was tasty and fresh, dishes were big ones and price level was low. 😊
Service was good and friendly 😊
Food came fast except last time when the cafe was almost full on customers.
My favorite dish was "Prawns Kothtu". Also curries were tasty 😋

Food was very good. we ate here a couple of times and we can totally recommend Kotthu, Rotthi and dhal curry!
The owner was also very nice and friendly :)

Best traditional food, very cute cooking woman in the kitchen. Best service from ranjith. He’s honestly interested at his guests. They serve originally Sri Lankan breakfast like string hoppers and also khitari. Just ask him one day before! They also do cooking classes! We ate here 4 of 5 days!

Very nice Rooms and Restaurant and a very nice family running it. Tasty local food for really good prices right next to the beach. You can walk through from the street. Local Curry with Rice for 550 LKR and worth every Penny. Tasty Roti, jummy. And the rooms are clean, bright and very welcoming. Water you can buy there and good Bike rentals are right next door. Go for Ranjith!
