Always a great time! Even when it is busy you never feel uncomfortable because of all the space.
Bartenders are bomb and this definitely is a dive bar.

We got overcharged for what we ordered. Bartender wouldn't show us what she rang in when we questioned it. When it's hot outside the owner refuses to turn on the air conditioner. When it's cold he refuses to turn on the heat. The liquor/beer selection is a joke. The pool tables are ALL messed up. I don't understand how this place is even still open. It actually used to be a decent place to go 5+ years ago. Now it's beyond awful.
It's a pretty cool place to play pool; but, they need a better bar with more selection as well as a complete renovation of the building and premises as they are quite run down.
Let me be honest, this place is run down and has leaky ceilings, but it's still a nice atmosphere. I've only been a few times. The drinks aren't expensive. The bartender girl isn't very good at mixing drinks, so get a beer. It's a small bar with a loud jukebox, and nice local people. No more, no less. It gets all the stars because while it has its flaws, this one is one of those instances that's all about the people. Cheers!
Small town dive bar if that's what you are into the pool table should be thrown away it's free to play pool but you get what you pay for it is by far the worst bargains I have been to here in Texas will never return

Most of the staff are great (albeit a frequent rotation), they are fun, real, and attentive. Only real complaints are that I feel the place is close to being closed due to lack of upkeep, it's a real dive. The staff and the clientele are the only real reason I keep coming back.
Best bar I have ever set foot into. Friendly environment, exceptional bartenders, and tasty beverages are few of the ways you can describe the rail. 5 stars!
I frequent this place often. Love the laid back atmosphere with hardly any people to wait on! The drink prices are reasonable however I swear the beer mugs shrink every time I come in but the prices remain the same.
Good if your a local or regular patron, probably wouldn't send tourists or people passing thru town here. Just my opinion, nothing against the Rail as a business / bar.
