We had take out , but I can tell you that the Resturant was cute and clean, we always look at the overall cleanliness before we eat anywhere. I had vegetable tofu curry, the vegetables were fresh and expertly prepared. My wife had the mixed Vegetable pad Thai which was also very good. October 10, 2022 - Following Google directions, missed it , had to turn around . . . a typical small college town eating spot, where the locals go for good food! It’s not fancy, but a humble Thai restaurant with plastic utensils & paper plates that offer a reasonable selection of authentic Thai food at reasonable prices! We took a chance, and stopped for a quick Sunday meal. As you walk into a “pizza slice”shaped building on the corner of College ( Bates College down the street) & Sabattus, folks order their food at the front counter. The menu offers a few appetizers like spring rolls, chicken on skewers, dumplings, etc. There’s a couple of soup choices. Then rice & noodle selections, followed by a good selection of entrees. We met the owner & chef Pat V. She worked 12 years in New York , honing her skills. My wife ordered crispy duck, which was excellent! I ordered the spring rolls, which were vegetarian. . . I was hoping for spring rolls . . . veggies with shrimp, chicken, or pork style ? I also ordered the chicken skewers with brown rice. Very good. Plus the little $5 bottles of wine. . . with a plastic cup. Hey it’s fine! The food wasn’t fancy, but good. This is a solid 4.5 establishment geared for those who want a “ take out” meal , but you can eat in also! Prices reasonable, and the counter service is excellent! Thanks Pat for a splendid Thai dinner !

Great food and great service ! I’ve came to this place a few times now, some of the best Thai food in Lewiston. The locale is on corner and can be easy to miss if you don’t know what you’re looking for. There is no dedicated parking area, so it can be difficult to find some during busy times of the day. You can come in and order at the counter. If you’re dining in they’ll bring the food to your table after you’ve ordered. The food can take some time to be prepared even if they are not very busy, but it’s always worth it. Most recently I had the Theee Flavor Fish. Highly recommend, it’s delicious. I’ve also had the Fried rice with Crispy chicken. They have a good selection of bubble tea as well. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant itself, but nothing to ride home about. The staff is very friendly and cordial.

Other than the rice container being questionably filled (pic attached - not sure if that's how much rice you would usually get with a meal here but I'm used to containers being FULL full), great experience! I wasn't expecting to find good (Asian) food in the middle of Maine, but Lewiston is actually a food lover's gem! The food and service received here at Pure Thai was great! Note: Even though their store hours say they close at 8:45pm (on Sundays), they had already closed the sitting area when I got there at 8pm, so I had to do take out, which was totally fine. I've been going there for years now and this is the first time the food was of such poor quality. I ordered two Pad Thai dishes and they both were sub par from what I expect from there. Regular Pad Thai, with beef had very little flavor and was on the bland side, like they forgot to add an ingredient. The Spicey Pad Thai was terribe, I only ate a few bites. The heat was fine but it didn't even taste right. The broccoli was very tiny and tasted off and there was hardly any real pad thai taste. A real disappointment. Please check the food, or have a clean area while cooking. I got sick from eating Chicken glass noodles. I got food poison after eating it. I love the Thai food here but the price for it just to get me sick, I'm very frustrated how much I spend here, hopefully no one else got sick. I had fried calamari, chicken and shrimp dumplings, and taro bubble tea. Fried calamari was amazing. Dumplings were good, but not as good as the calamari. The bubble tea was full of ice. It was okayish.
