When I was looking for a veg restaurant in Pokhara, this restaurant showed up but with a 3.1 rating which made me doubt it at first but since it was near to our stay we thought of giving it a try and we didn't regret it.
The food was good and so was the service.
We ordered dal makhani , butter panner masala, veg kofta and tandoori roti.kofta balls were little under cooked but they changed it immediately.

My experience at Punjabi Restaurant was disappointing on various levels. The service was painfully slow, with a lack of attentiveness from the staff. The ambiance was far from inviting, with outdated decor and uncomfortable seating. The menu boasted Punjabi cuisine, but the execution fell short. The dishes lacked authenticity, and the flavors were mediocre at best. Portion sizes were inconsistent, leaving me hungry despite the high prices. To add to the frustration, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. Overall, my visit to Punjabi Restaurant was an underwhelming and unsatisfactory dining experience
In short they only fooling Indian tourists
I recommend don't go to these restaurants they only using Punjabi name

Pure vegetarian spacious restaurant in Pokhara (Nepal). I have tried their masala dosa and aloo pyaz paratha and both were really good.
There service was not very much satisfactory. I asked waitresses to serve tea after having brunch and served the cold tea.
Overall experience was good.

High price for a normal food quality. Couldn't get coffee as they didn't have milk at around 9:00am. You can get other similar restaurants who are pocket and taste friendly within a short distance.
Restaurant right next to the main road. Large space so group of people can visit this place. The food I would say is average. We ordered vegetable thali. The milk tea was below average. Staffs are however good. The place was dark and not so clean.

Manager did not take ownership of mistakes with food quality from his employees. Instead he was blaming them in front of customers. Poor management.

Probably the best Tarka Dal I have tasted so far in Nepal. Really fast service, food came out fast and food was delicious.
Only thing I will say is this is not a Vegetarian restaurant in no means, meat is abundant on the menu as much as Vegetarian options.
According to their name "Punjabi restaurant," they make food like Punjab literally. I had tasted 'paneer do pyaaja' at this restaurant and it was amazing in taste... the quantity of paneer was like less but the taste was amazing and owner of restaurant is from Delhi and he understood easily the feelings of Indian guy😉 and they served beer and wine too. So that you can go with family or friends for lunch or dinner whatever you want. Price is high as compared to Indian Punjabi restaurants. It's ok although.
