HIGHLY recommend. Why? Every. Single. Time. we come to the Hop, we are welcomed with generosity and authenticity. The quality of the beer selection doesn’t hurt either! I mean seriously, Pat’s curated lineup always hits the spot regardless of season. We love the atmosphere with all the wood and greens that make for a calm environment. You can always count on good conversation and sharing some laughs, whether it’s jam packed or just us and Pat there. Cozy but large enough to host quite a few folks! This has quickly become a staple in the Roswell neighborhood and a go-to for local and international brews. You also have the benefit of being right next to Moxy Burger which delivers to the Hop. PLUS, there’s an incredibly successful vendor/food truck partnership rotation that brings in some mouthwatering, award-winning food. Cannot overstate how much we love spending a couple hours here knowing we’re supporting a local biz owner who is investing in our community. (Bonus points for the pups we get to see and all the raffles and giveaways.) Price per person $10–20

I love this place so much. I live in the city but come up to Roswell to my workshop every week to build modern furniture and I love coming here after work, feels like a home away from home, can’t say enough nice things about the ownership and people that frequent this place. Also the beer selection is insane, very curated and thoughtful. Really excited that this place opened! Awesome atmosphere, great staff and a fantastic beer selection that is definitely Properly Poured! Very relaxing place with indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by Historical buildings. Parking is in the rear.

Came by because of the BBQ popup they had, which was insane. But the place itself is great. Historic building, really well laid out, and lots of really interesting beers on tap and to go. Service was smooth and friendly, the bathrooms were clean, parking was easy, there's really nothing not to like. Will definitely be back, even if Springfield BBQ isn't doing a popup. Love Proper Hop Taphouse! They have a solid crew working there! Excellent beer selection! Patrick cleans out his lines every 2 weeks and because of that every beer is so fresh! Lots go into what beers he puts on tap and I respect that! Great atmosphere with outdoor seating!

Tried a unique beer and had a couple that fit perfectly what I want out of an English beer or a Belgian. There is great food nearby and Proper Hop Taphouse is happy to welcome your dog for a lunchtime stroll through old Roswell. Stop by for a pint or two. Service Dine in Price per person $10–20

Locally owned treasure in Roswell! Rotating beer options with something for everyone! Great wine selection and plenty of outdoor and indoor seating! The owner, Patrick, his wife, Caroline, and his staff are so accommodating and friendly!

Excellent variety of beers served in proper glassware. Beers taste bright without any off flavors, which indicates they clean their tap lines. Edit/update: Can't change my mind. Accommodating, simple and beers are on point.....always. I hate the current state of the beer market and can't help but love this place. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Found this place on the Untapped App while looking for some good Imperial Stouts. We visited and found out the owner was bartending that day which was really cool. I asked what the best Imperial Stout in Inventory and he pointed me to Jackie O’s Bourbon Barrel Dark Apparition. Wow! Was it good. New favorite. Lots of choices here and a great atmosphere.
