The staff were super friendly and flexible. The food was below average. The coffee was average. Toilet was a little hard to find. Cabinet food was pretty empty when I visited, tho this could be because it was a holiday. The aesthetic and vibe is lacking. Eggs on toast were very plain and on plain supermarket sliced bread which I'm not used to at cafes. The wedges were mostly fine but the bigger ones were undercooked. The panini was fine. Hands down the best poached eggs I have had in a while. So easy to over cook them, but not when I visited. Staff were friendly, engaging, bacon and eggs was amazing, and prices were extremely reasonable! We had waffle and egg Benedict 🥚 😋 it was really yummy and we enjoyed it. Nice vibe. But egg Benedict was just a little bit salty to my taste. But I really enjoyed waffles 🧇 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome pancakes and waffles. Huge portion and fresh fruits were so delectable. Great hospitality. We will definitely be back at this cafe when we visit Napier.

Poppy’s Cafe is a must visit if you’re in Napier! The food is fantastic and the service unmatched. The owner/operators were incredibly kind and funny and have created such a warm and inviting atmosphere, I’ll be smiling when I think back on this cafe for years to come. I had the fresh fruit and cream pancake stack and took a fudgy brownie to go, and both were to die for! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast
