Popeyes serves up low quality fried chicken that is greasy and often overcooked. The sides are uninspired and flavors are just average. Service is slow and employees seem unfocused. Dining areas tend to be messy and chaotic. For cheap fast food chicken it works, but I've had much better fried chicken elsewhere. Popeyes is convenient but you get what you pay for. Ultimately I'd only give it a mediocre 2 star rating. There are better options if you want good fried chicken like Socului or even KFC. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

For some reason, this particular Popeye's restaurant has the best taste in all food itens, compared to others in Bucharest. On top, the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful and they make you feel welcomed. Great customer service! Congrats to the entire team! Me and my fiancé ate at Popeyes on a Monday evening. We got two menus for about 80 RON. The food was warm and tasteful. The fries are delicious and the garlic mayo sauce was good. The place is nice and clean. Looks like any of the premium fast-foods...McDonald or KFC. The menu is similar to KFC but not that good by my taste. Cajun fries sounds nice but did not find anything special about them. What is named Spicy is spicyer than KFC - my son enjoyed that. Drive-trough close to autoban A3, non-stop and easy to reach both from Voluntari and Pipera does that trick I belive.
