We got the pizza of the month delivered by Uber eats. The pepperoni, hot honey, basil pizza was delicious and huge. We're still eating it after 24hrs and it never gets old. And although it was juicy, it wasn't greasy. Sometimes pizza is just amazing!

I am from NY/NYC and trust me when I say I know this is the best NY pizza place in Charleston.
I do worship pizza tbh. Borderline obsession with trying new pizza places & there has never been a moment where I didn’t “feel” like picking up a pizza. I love pizza in all forms; coal fire, thin, deep dish, fast food pizza, BUT I stay craving NYC pizza alll the time.
PizzaVola has stopped us in our tracks and we keep going back for more. We’ve probably picked up there maybe 8-10 times now? We also live deep in West Ashley and still take the drive to get it (they have it on uber eats but it’s not worth the delivery charge).
95% of the time it’s been excellent- there was one night that it wasn’t the same quality and I ONLY SAY THAT because I urge you if you tried their pizza for the first time on a slammed night please give them another chance. (Per one of the reviews below) ••
Every restaurant has nights where they are busy or they have new crew… once out of 10 times is pretty consistent epic quality.
We got takeout last week that made us happy sigh and happy dance with every bite. Perfection. The pizza sauce is perfect, the crisp crust, the mozzarella. Everything. Unmatched. Only Sicilian that is actually a real Sicilian pizza. The hot honey pepperoni is killer. I love a classic margarita moment and that never disappoints. When we came in to pickup this last time we stopped in our tracks and HAD to try a slice they were offering by the slice. I cannot remember the name, don’t know if it was a special and I didn’t take a picture because we devoured it while driving in 2 minutes. It was a meatball sub pizza but it had a crust on the top and bottom. It tasted like garlic knot dough on-top of the toppings then covered again with crispy mozzarella. You MUST try it next time you go, insane. It was legendary.
Seriously, incredible pizza & if you are from up north looking for a real deal NY slice this is it.

This is the best place to order pizza from in Charleston. I’m from NYC and am a huge pizza lover. Growing up, my family often ordered dinner from a pizzeria that included pizza, pasta, salad, bread, and a chicken dish or Stromboli. FINALLY there’s a great place to do this in Charleston!!! I love that if you order a pasta dish, you also get a salad and a few garlic knots included. The cannolis might be the best in Charleston.

We ordered a large pizza at 6pm and were given a 25-30 min delivery time. Awesome…fast forward an hour and we called to follow up because it hadn’t come yet. At that time we were told it was leaving right then as they had gotten busy, no big deal we are enjoying our evening. We call again 30 min later because we live less than 10 min from the location and we were told that the driver would be there any minute now and was dropping 2 other orders before ours. I was a little concerned it would be cold but whatever…it would be here soon. Another 30 mins goes by and we finally just called to cancel and we were told “yeah not sure why it’s not there, it should have been there awhile ago…sorry about that”. This was our first time ordering here and I was excited to try the new place but sadly I never got to try the pizza and won’t likely be ordering from here again. Super disappointed given it was a $27 pizza😔

I had high hopes for this pizza place due to recommendations. I'm from NYC so yes, I'm a pizza snob. It was a Sunday so that may be why the pizza wasn't great. We ordered 2 slices and they weren't heated enough so they were kind of cool. The crust was good but the sauce had too much oregano. The pizza wasn't horrible but not as good as I was expecting.
Great little pizza place! Found out about it on the low country eat out Facebook page. Had to check it out while we were close. The place was clean, pizza tasted fresh, and the service was good. We are in Summerville and I wish it was closer. Going to have to make it a point to go there when we head out towards folly. Not sure whatever the pinwheel consists of, but it was sooooo good. I had the buffalo chicken one and had another slice for lunch at 12. I literally was so full and didn't want to eat dinner. Great value for what you pay. Definitely check out this place!

We've been doing some home renovations and have been without a kitchen. So, we've been eating A LOT of take out. We have had Pizza Vola like 3 times now and every time it's been delicious and delivered quickly. We've ordered pizza, salads, stromboli, garlic knots, pasta and cheesecake. We've been pleasantly surprised at every turn. Absolutely recommend!

Finally stopped in and tried this place for a late lunch. I was glad to find a slice of Sicilian for a change around here. They had grandma slices and multiple other New York style slices. I tried the pepperoni roll too this day but it wasn’t for me. I thought the Sicilian was good and asked for extra sauce to put on top. The sauce wasn’t really that bold in my opinion. It’s a mild flavor. I’ll be back again for the Sicilian and to try the grandma’s slice. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.
Ordered takeout last night. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half pineapple. We were told they were out of pepperoni so we made the whole pizza pineapple. When we got there to pick it up we saw them putting pepperoni on pizza which was strange since they said they were out. They only put pineapple on half and left the other side just cheese which is not what we ordered. We also got the garlic knots and were disappointed they didn’t come with any marinara sauce. The pizza was okay.

This place has the best guilty eating pizza. I mean this is a greasy cheesy flavorful pizza. My boyfriend and I had their pizza after the day at the beach and it did not disappoint. We went to this place based on a recommendation from a local, and I don’t know how they do it but it’s greasy on top but doesn’t soak to the bottom. We will definitely be ordering from this place again whenever we aren’t feeling like health nuts.
