Mamma Mia is the most reliable restaurant in Lushoto with a very large menu. They have the best pizzas you'll find in Lushoto, authentic Italian pizzas. Their pasta is also rated high and highly recommended. The atmosphere could have been better, indoor seating is a little congested and tables are too close to each other. Service is great and the owner is always around to make sure everything is okay. I'd highly recommend their Mambo Pizza which is a BBQ beef pizza and their Alfredo Pasta. A very lovely restaurant. We had two pizzas and a brownie with ice cream to share. It was decently priced, perhaps a bit on the pricey side, but it was okay. For me the crust could be a bit better (just my personal preference), but the fillings were good. Overall a lovely experience.

I have tried 2 different pizzas and the vegetable samosas and all of it is very very delicious. During my 8 months travelling in East Africa this is without a doubt the best pizza I have tasted. If you are looking for an amazing pizza, good atmosphere and super nice service then I highly recommend Pizza Mamma Mia. Service Dine in

The owner lady is superb supportive. Gave lots of good suggestions. She even sent one of her colleagues up-to my hotel with me as it was late night and I was bit scared to go alone. Foods were great. I had the most delicious vegan creamy pasta with mushrooms and leaks. The ultimate comfort food after a day of hiking. To top it off, the brownie for dessert was a sweet delight. The warm ambience and attentive staff made the evening even more enjoyable. Mama Mia is a must-visit for anyone seeking a flavourful vegan dining experience in Lushoto. Very friendly and welcoming staff, The food was absolutely amazing and freshly prepared.
