First time I have eaten here in a very long time, so glad I decided to choose to go. Came for the lunch buffet, was not disappointed, salad bar was stocked and clean, and the pizza bar was as well. To my surprise, per policy they rotate the pizzas and pasta every 20 minutes with freshly made pizzas or pasta, so the customer always has a fresh hot slice to choose. But even more pleasing was the service, it was outstanding, I believe our server/cashier was Brady, great young man. Fresh plates and full cups of favorite beverages was the standard. Came in for lunch around 1:10 p.m. to find the buffet mostly empty. They promised fresh food would be out shortly. As the food trickled out it was pounced upon by people waiting. What we did get pizza and pasta wise was good with plenty of toppings. The salad wasn't very pretty but tasted alright. The server was on the ball and kept our drinks full. Newly remodeled clean and bright. We visited on the weekend so the lunch buffet wasn't available. The salad bar was open with a good fresh variety at $5 a person with the purchase of a pizza. Could get nearly any pizza for $10. I haven't been in Pizza Hut in about 20 years literally but we went for the lunch buffet today. After all the bad service, wrong orders and cranky people at most of Mcalester restaurants this was a huge and pleasant surprise. Food was fresh hot and flavorful. Service was above and beyond. The manager lady in charge seen it was 2:06 and had a real bad attitude, bouncing her head around like some kind of ghetto momma and was chewing the other employees out, whom was fixing to sell the last of the buffet, and just generally unpleasant. Sat in the drive-through for a while before anyone came to the window. A lady was standing IN the back door smoking a cigarette when I pulled up. ZERO customers in the building. My kid's and I love Pizza Hut pizza over any pizza in McAlester. Until now. This pizza was terrible. The meat was hard, stale and tasted nasty. Nothing fresh about any of our food.
