Pipsqueak Cafe is our whole family's absolute favorite place. The food is delicious, home made with quality ingredients and generous servings. Great coffee, welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with a loyal clientele of regulars. Family friendly, Te Reo inclusive. Gets busy at times as a reflection of how good it is, but the wait is never long - Vanessa is an awesome operator. It's always a pleasure to head to Pipsqueak - coffee is incredible, the cheese scones are honestly the best in NZ and my kids can't get enough of the lolly cake & marshmallow slice. Popped in for lunch. Delicious selection of cabinet food. Tried to hold out and not get some of the slices that were also there,... but crumbled. I visited Pipsqueak Cafe this morning after reading great reviews for it. There were 6 people waiting for coffees, etc and only one person serving (the owner was at the supermarket and would be back soon). I left and went elsewhere where there were more staff to serve customers :( Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Fantastic and friendly service! You can absolutely tell this is a locally loved cafe — I enjoyed a tasty treat, dried fruit and bran muffin with a spicy chai latte to accompany it. BIG thumbs up (!)
