We got there around 10am when they were still setting up. The staff were super lovely and welcomed our blend of English, French and Portuguese. The food was simple and affordable. I really enjoyed the açai bowl (not pictured) and the lovely view of the beach.

My hummus, lentil salad was surprisingly good. I eould get it again. We were not acknowledged until sitting for about 20 minutes, which would not be unusual or frustrating except that another couple came in about 15 minutes after us and were acknowledged and placed their order immediately, which felt as if we were being ignored, or there was disorganization by the staff. Make no mistake, the food is not the reason to go to Picada. It’s the pleasure of sitting outside with a view of the ocean that makes this restaurant a pleasant stop. Keep your expectations for the food low and they will be met. If we ever come back, it will be to just have a beverage and relax for a bit. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
