The food looked and smelled so good, I had already ravished it before remembering to take a picture for my review. Then came the taste..... WELL seasoned, WELL spiced from the meat (I had both the oxtail and fish), to the cabbage , to the rice. DEFINITELY recommend Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Rice and Peas

Just recently discovered this restaurant and I have only had the jerk chicken so far. I confess, it's the best jerk I've had in US in years. It's well seasoned and done to the bone but still tender and juicy. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely be going back soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Update 3: Everyone look at the regular photo section and look at the peoples choice wet looking wings..alot of sauce...now look at my DRY wings in my photos. Why ask me if i want gravy if youre going to serve dry wings. False advertisement! Be consistent. I wanted the wings with the so called special sauce. Im left w white rice and dry wings. Grade F Update 2: the curry goat was fyahhhh! Again my cabbage was full of curry. I dont want my veggies drenched with the main dish. Grade A Oxtail was amazing! Grade A+ Update 1: A+ for customer service! Competitive pricing and fast service. The curry shrimp was plentiful but just okay. Not a party in my mouth like other curry shrimp elsewhere. Curry sauce was somewhat bland and basic. There was oddly alot of cabbage mixed (not normally in this dish) in the dish. Curry Cabbage Shrimp? LOL Now the oxtail in the pan looked delicious therefore i will give peoples choice another try at the oxtail and their yummy looking red velvet cake. We were getting pedicures a few doors down and were curious after reading the really good reviews on Google! Well lo and behold the reviews were right! The people's choice wings were seasoned and juicy, sweet and spicy goodness! The veggie patty was yum yum! The crust was flaky and flavourful! The conch soup was a great thick "stick to your ribs" kinda of soup, it was more like a stew! Thank you to Ashley for greeting us with her warm, welcoming spirit! She is truly an asset to this establishment! Much success to everyone at The People's Choice! We also ordered the oxtail to go because everyone was saying how delicious they were.

REAL AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD My 1st time here and i will keep coming back, food is excellent well seasoned and nice size portions! i had jerk chicken and curry chicken, both were AMAZING! No this is not acceptable, I don't live anywhere near where this place is and they did a piss poor job and sent something that could actually make them liable and get them sued. No $5 Uber eats coupon to your restaurant when I live a thousand miles away isn't going to cut it, I'm thinking of calling the health department. If I had swallowed one of these bone shards, it certainly would have been a trip to the ER or worse.

Best Jamaican American food in Broward, hands down! 2 locations but Miramar hits different. Menu is more extensive with various seafood options along with pastas & vegan dishes! Delishhhhh. Customer service is not like your typical Jamaican restaurant…they’re actually friendly!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

I will start by saying I am Jamaican and I am a chef, I was impressed with the food especially the oxtails… it was a good amount, tasty like real home cooking and the freshness, it don’t taste old or any weird smells, just pure awesomeness, try it, it will not disappoint. This restaurant in Miramar was recommended to me, so my daughter and I went to check it out, and let me tell you…it did NOT disappoint. I got the oxtails, my daughter got the butter shrimp and Ohhh my Goddd, it was delicious. First off, I was shocked how much food we received, and it was not expensive at all. I’ve paid more for less at other restaurants. The Oxtails were tender, the rice and peas done right. My daughter loved her shrimp. I’m not usually a fan of red velvet cake because every time I bought a slice somewhere, I ended up being disappointed. My daughter wanted a slice so I got one, I tried it and almost ate the whole thing, I forgot I bought it for her. It was so moist and delicious. I was stuffed and happy. This restaurant is now my go to, the food is simply delicious. I can’t wait to try other menu items . Yess!!! Finally, a Jamaican restaurant that gets it right. Service Take out Meal type Dinner
