What friendly, knowledgeable folks, and what a great spot! We really enjoyed the wines in our tasting, and the food was really excellent—especially the local-grown greens in “The Works.” And yes, we had to take at least one bottle with us for later enjoyment!

We were so impressed with this gem! One of the owners guided us through a personalized tasting based on our likes and based around our other wine tasting plans. We travel for wine, we collect and take notes and love learning. If this sounds like you, put this spot on your "must do" list for Wānaka. We encountered wines from small producers that we otherwise would have never come into contact with. It was an excellent experience, would highly recommend.

An amazing experience, great service and the staff were absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable with wines, spirits and other alcohol. Platters were fresh, divine and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend. Caters for small and large groups. Thank you Pembroke 😊

Excellent service, food and drinks. Nadja and her husband are very friendly, a huge knowledge of wines and other drinks. Very good cocktails, and the sardines are divine. You can have tastes of wines, rum, gin, tequila, beers... Easily to spend hours there.

The service here is very friendly and helpful. I was greeted upon entering and was asked various questions until the wine that best suited my preferences (including price range) was found. I appreciated that the owner was willing to work with me despite my budget. The local Wanaka Pinot Gris she recommended was delicious. She is clearly very knowledgeable in her work and knows her inventory.

I was in for a gin flight and loved the variety of options both locally and globally. You can also choose wine, beer, whiskey, rum flights (and maybe more). They also have bottles behind the bar they will let you sample free of charge. Very nice selection and very friendly! Also, their barrel aged negroni is the best negroni I've ever had.

Friendly and knowledgeable owner who gave us an introduction to local wines and hikes in the area. We had the flight of 4 white wines and incredibly delicious smoked mussels with salad. Reasonable prices too.

Fabulous shop with a nice 4 glass tasting, a little card of information was also provided with each wine and we were told of the replacements which were local as well. Great wines, fantastic boards of cheese and chutney. Highly recommend it. My favourite was the chardonnay 😊

In Wanaka for a few nights and what better thing to do on a rainy day than tastings. My wife did wine tasting, i did whiskey and the choices given to us by staff were spot on, absolutley fantastic. We also got the cheeseboard which was great and very generous helpings. Staff also recommended dining options around town, seriously coukd not have had a better experience.
