We had the place to ourselves Monday morning. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Kids loved their pancakes and bacon, we thoroughly enjoyed our eggs Benedict dishes. Clean restroom and had baby changer. Would only say the space echoed a lot so it was loud when you talk.

Enjoyed brunch here with family. The corn beef hash was moist and tasty. Sour dough toast was also a pleasant surprise. Service was very attentive with plenty of refills on coffee and water.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional service provided by Gray at the Pelican Breakfast and Lunch. From the moment I walked in, Gray greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, instantly making me feel welcome.

The food was actually pretty good. Everything was fresh and hot when it came out. I had the oatmeal and I built my own breakfast. The oatmeal was not as firm as I would have liked for it to be (just a personal preference) We did have a little issue with our order, but the team corrected it for the most part. We also, took notice that a few of the other customers had some issues with their orders as well. Maybe, the server was having an off day? The team member with the aqua green hair made sure everything was corrected when we received our bill. We will absolutely give them another shot. I do recommend them if you are new to the Deer Park/ La Porte area.

If you're looking for a well-made breakfast then look no further. This is the stop. My favorite food is breakfast food and Pelican exceeded my expectations. I can't believe I haven't tried them earlier.
Woke up late on a Sunday with no energy to fix a meal. Bae and I were craving breakfast and I'm so glad a quick Google search lead us here.
Plenty of free parking in the plaza out front. No worries at all.
Upon entry, the inside is well lit by sunlight and there is a gorgeous, painted mural on the wall of breakfast foods which I loved. We were warmly greeted and seated by the hostess. Our drink orders were taken swiftly and the menu was pleasant to look at and easy to navigate. There are plenty of options so everyone in your group is bound to find something they like.
Our server was kind and attentive. The table had all the creamers, hot sauces, ketchup, and other seasonings as well as butter and jellies.
There was a healthy amount of families and couples already inside eating. It was a relaxed and light hearted atmosphere inside. It definitely felt like a wonderful Sunday for brunch.
The food was SO GOOD! If you like fresh, crisp hashbrowns and perfectly cooked eggs the way you like it. Delicious hollandaise and buttery toast then this is where you want to be. Very high quality breakfast. Seriously. I'm drooling just writing this review. I'll be back.

Classic Eggs Benedict
The food here is very decent. They keep your coffee full. The fruit plate was delicious. My eggs were a little undercooked and the acoustics in this place make it a little hard to hear. Maybe put some things on the walls? But overall it's a solid breakfast or brunch choice. The pancakes are also very tasty.

The breakfast was really nice. The service was excellent. The only thing was the soda pop, I’m not sure if they have a fountain drink dispenser or it was just down . We got can soda pop. It seemed a bit odd. But other than that we will be back to have more of there menu items. So stay tuned for more food information. Peace out ✌🏼

Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs
This is my favorite place to get chicken and waffles. The chicken is a big as the waffle. It’s crispy and VERY JUICY! The waffle is light and fluffy. Any server you get will greet you with kindness. They are very attentive and make sure you’re doing well.

The older lady hostess and waiter here are super rude, the sad part is that the food is actually pretty good. Actually witnessed the hostess tell a gentleman, who was waiting for his party, if his party didn’t show soon that she would need the table. Meanwhile there were 4 open tables in the middle of the dining area open. Like I said, her and the guy waiter are easily enough reason not to go here. Luckily we were able to change to Shelby who was great. If you go here, ask for her, but we won’t be returning.

I have tried this place several times now. Everytime the servicers seemed super rushed; to the point of providing bad service to the customers. Either they need to train the servers better or at least higher more of them. The food quantity is not great for the price, and the food was poorly prepared. The french toast was not properly soaked in the egg mix which made it super dry in the center. I ordered the fruit add-on option, but didn't get it and had to ask them to remove the cost from the bill. The grilled ham slice was super thin to the point that I could see through it in places. The atmosphere feels like a strip mall food stall that is more worried about turning table than providing a good experience. All in all I would not recommend this place.
