It is a kind of Carribean Asian fusion. You will have options of nice steak as well. The atmosphere was very tranquil. Loved all items. If you read my other reviews I have to mention that food in Turks and Caicos in general is very good. They take time to cook and serve.

We stayed at RWI and ate at Pelican Bay Restaurant on a few occasions. The food was tasty, but the best part of our visit was always the service at the bar! Don’t miss half price happy hour, too!

Our first time in Turks and Caicos. We stayed at RWI and had breakfast and their all you can eat lobster buffet and apps at the bar. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Everything was very good and we would definitely return!

Just had dinner at the Pelican. Managed to catch the last 10 minutes of happy hour which was nice. The rest of the dinner experience was quite disappointing. The food was ok not great. The ribs were quite good and so was the bread. The tuna tartare was ok. The one thing that was quite disappointing is the quality of the service. The food took for ever to come. We witnessed at least 2 other tables with comparable number of people that were seated way after us and got served way before us. We think that we may not have gotten their best waiter. Maybe they had an event that evening and were too stretched. Not sure what was going on but the overall experience was not great unfortunately.
During our stay in TCI, we had the pleasure of dining at Pelican Bay Restaurant multiple times, and it consistently delivered good quality and fresh food. The variety of options on the menu ensured that there was always something to suit our preferences.
The staff at Pelican Bay Restaurant were friendly and accommodating, though we did notice that the dinner à la carte dishes took a bit longer to arrive. However, the wait was worth it as the flavors and presentation were on point.
One memorable evening, we had the opportunity to experience the outside grill, and it was truly amazing. The chefs prepared our orders right in front of us, ensuring that everything was fresh and made to order. The sizzling aromas and delicious taste of the grilled dishes made for a delightful dining experience.
The conch fritters at Pelican Bay Restaurant were an absolute favorite of ours. They were perfectly cooked and served as a fantastic appetizer at any time of the day. The crispy exterior and flavorful interior left us wanting more with each bite.
If you find yourself in TCI, I recommend visiting Pelican Bay Restaurant. While the dinner à la carte dishes may take a little longer, the good quality and fresh food, friendly staff, and memorable experiences, such as the outside grill, make it a worthwhile choice. Don't forget to try the mouthwatering conch fritters—they are simply delicious!

Always an amazing experience. Second time here. Always friendly staff and food is good. Downside was running out of towels for the beach and pool.

We had a very nice time at the Wednesday night Lobster Extravaganza. It was nice that they had chilled, grilled to order and several fried options of lobster, shrimp, red snapper & conch. The penne pasta that was cooked to order with several sauce options was good, too! The atmosphere is lovely at night around the pool, and the staff was very nice and attentive. Definitely worth a try on a Wednesday night!!

Overall impression - it's okay, not necessarily going to blow you away, but the location is extremely convenient. If you're staying at the resort it's right by the pool, but if not there's an entrance not far off the beach.
Service felt a little slow, at least waiting on stuff from the kitchen. Mahi sandwich and fries - seemed just kinda average. Not bad, not amazing. Underwhelming for the price point. $30+ for the sandwich pictured here, someone else walked up to get a can of ginger ale and that was $5 by itself... definitely "resort in the Caribbean" price point.
