Lovely restaurant, with a stylish interior, great service and delicious food (in general). We had 4 tapas dishes - grilled prawns, beef, lettuce & roe, and tuna tartar - that were all excellent. Our son had fish and chips - the fish was great, as were the chips. We then had a local speciality of fried cuttlefish, which was very nice, and a grilled sea bass, with lots of grilled veg on the side. Unfortunately the sea bass had a strange taste - I suspect it was the first fish to be grilled, and the chef had used some kind of lighter fluid to light the charcoal. We didn’t eat it all, and mentioned the taste to the staff. They were extremely professional, and took it away apologetically - the chef tasted it, and though they thought it tasted normal, they gave us one of our cocktails on the house. The sea-bass aside, it was a fantastic meal. I would go again, but would wait until after 7:45pm to order grilled fish next time.

Nice place with nice terrace, the food was amazing, delicious, tasty and so fresh, we had grilled shrimp, my favorites so soft and tender with a taste a good butter, the grilled fish was well grilled, highly recommended, the staff was efficient and friendly. the whole experience was great 😊

Very good atmosphere and service, the people were great!
Entrees were amazing and wine selection was very good and justly priced.
Choco dish (typical Setubal fish dish) was not as good as some other restaurants in the region.

Fried Cuttlefish
Overall, great. I would say that the chips were slightly oversalted on our visit, but other than that, the food was very good, particularly the fried cuttlefish, which is a speciality from Setúbal. The kids' portion of fish and chips was super generous, too.
The only downside, which is outside the restaurant's control, is the wait to enter at peak time. Make sure you go early (12pm) or book a table. This applies to all nearby restaurants on weekends, holidays, and most of the spring/summer season since the area is super popular (most dolphin sightseeing trips leave from the docs nearby).

Not sure if the head chef wasn't there when we visited in late December 2022, but the rice was dry, and there was a problem with the entrée, where most of one of the two pieces was not there and whoever served it decided to plate it in a way it seemed fine.
When we complained (my husband got a regular piece and I got a hollow one) the server initially said that the entrée was only two pieces and that they couldn't add one more. I had to be insistent that my cuttlefish croquette was mostly not there and eventually she went back to the kitchen (with a terrible attitude) and I got a replacement.

This was perhaps the worst lunch at a restaurant that I had in my entire life! Let's begin:
Starters: Olives were good, the tuna paste was below average, butter with seaweed was meh.
Entrees: Fried "choco" (cuttlefish): the cuttlefish was tender, but that was its only positive point. It had no seasoning at all, the mayo was substandard and the french fries were okish if they have had some seasoning on them. Fish and chips: the fish batter was abundant, thick and crunchy but also, unfortunately, completely tasteless without any seasoning. The fish was cut into very thin fillets and again it had no seasoning at all. Absolutely bland, tasteless food!
We skipped dessert, and because we felt like we hadn't had any food at all, we went to a BK instead which was a much better option! Stay away from this restaurant, I suspect that all the positive reviews are fake, it's impossible that they are true!

We had an amazing lunch. The food was superb, we had as starters some prawns and tuna tatar and then grilled dorade and tuna steak.
Everything tasted excellent and the fish was perfectly grilled.
The service was very friendly and attentive.
I would love to come back and try more from the menu.
