My Aunt & Uncle always bought me the big chocolate & filled with nuts & etc for Easter every year when I was a child. It was the best! There were always so many goodies in the store to choose from. When back in town from Fla. One of the highlights of the short time home is a trip to Pease's. Thanks for so many treasured memories 💜 Easter Blessings💜

STILL the best chocolate candies I have been loving for 30 years. Dropped in last week for some Lincoln Logs and they were DELICIOUS just like they always have been. Got some candy fruit slices too and gourmet chocolates that were on same level. Thank you Pease’s!

Got their chocolate box in the harvest market in Champaign. I like the taste but there was one chocolate missing when I opened the box (bottom left in the photo). This prevents me from getting this as a present

I went there for some dark chocolate orange creams my neighbor lady likes them a sampled one first to make sure that's what I was looking for I think they're the only place around that has orange cream that really tastes like orange and raspberry it tastes like raspberry everybody else has the coloring down but not the flavor the woman that waited on me was very pleasant and helpful and it was a pleasure doing business with them

Our family went it and my kids loved looking through all the candy. The ladies behind the counter were very nice. The chocolate was great and I picked from the 50% off shelf. Very yummy.

No longer great chocolate. Not the luscious confections I grew up with. My last two purchases have left me terribly disappointed. The chocolate is dry and old tasting instead of creamy and fresh. The filled Easter eggs were not at all creamy. Such a shame.

My first experience at Pease’s was great. I am not a huge chocolate covered strawberries fan but these are delicious. I got some for my wife for Mother’s Day and they did not disappoint. The strawberries were perfect and the chocolate was amazing. They looked pretty too. 10/10 recommend

Just spent (way too much) $60 for two lbs of their sweet and salty mixed nuts on Laurel street. There is no sweetness to them just salt. They are fresh - but just no sweet added to the salt like in the past. Very disappointed. Hesitated spending that much but one is a gift and the other was a splurge for me. Will contact store tomorrow to resolve.

I am a longtime fan of Pease’s but moved to FL a couple years ago. We were back in IL last week and got a pound of sweet n salty cashews. We didn’t open till we got home but we’re really disappointed. The cashews weren’t sweet and they were stale. Rather than write a review I wanted to contact the owners directly but couldn’t find that option.

Great selection and very friendly staff. The above was 2 years ago...my last several recent interactions with some of the staff at the state street location have left room to be desired. Unfortunately I have to update the rating downwards.
